Great App
Builtstory is a great way to discover local history and places of interest, its a tour guide in your picket. Its on my phone and travel's with me, great app guys thank you.
Simple tour at your own pace!
We used this on a recent trip to Miami and enjoyed getting some additional information about some of the most significant Art Deco buildings, without having to commit to a scheduled tour! We could use the app for navigation and stop for snacks or other attractions along the way whenever we wanted!

We first heard of the Built Story self guided tour when they reached out to us to be included in their Christmas tours. We being the absolute Christmas decorations fanatics we were thrilled and honored to be included in their Christmas self guided tour. It added much more excitement and thrill for knowing our display could be viewed by many around our big city. During the holidays, we used the tour to see all the wonderful displays around us & got to see everyone’s own creative take on their holiday displays. We had a lot of fun driving around listening to Christmas music and seeing all the lighted neighborhoods we never knew existed until we used their self guided app. It was a pleasure working with the team on instructing us how to use the app & communications with them about our display. Being that we were so excited to be included in the Christmas 2022 tour that we worked extra hard and put alot of time in our display. It made our holiday much more brighter from all the compliments we got from neighbors and people that took advantage of the self guided tour.

This App Saved Christmas!!
We love touring our community to view the best Christmas displays around, but sometimes it takes longer to put in addresses and create the routes than it does to actually view the houses! This app took all of the prep-work out and allowed us to just buckle up and go! It created an efficient route of the best displays around and saved me the time and hassle of all of that! It’s definitely worth downloading the app and getting your local tours!

This is a great way to see Christmas lights in my neighborhood.
Horrible App crashing after purchase
After we bought the ticket for the tour everytime I attempted to start the tour the app would fail!!

Built Story tours are super easy to follow along with and fun for anyone looking for a unique driving or walking tour in their city! I’ve loved exploring various tours across the US and am looking forward to taking more in the future!
Rip off
I got the app paid for a tour and every house that was on the Christmas light tour didn’t even have their lights on. Wasted 10.00 on the tour and gas driving around to these locations.

The developers addressed our issue quickly and offered a refund. Even if the app didn’t work as planned they get 5 stars for handling the situation so well.
Great for Holiday Light tours!
We used this to see holiday lights, it worked great! Look forward to other tours of interesting things in our area.
Great app
We used this during COVID lockdown for Black History month. We took a riding tour in Durham NC. This was great. Stay in your car and make stops at historic sites.
Unusable
App needed for a holiday light tour. It wont even let me sign in or register. Completely unusable. I can’t even search for anything.

Needs some fixes
My issues with this app when using for a virtual walking tour: The audio recording stops if you go to another app or put the screen to sleep. It would be nice if it kept playing in the background. I had to keep my phone on without any interruption for the entire tour. If I switched apps (i.e. took a photo of something on the tour), when I reopened the tour stop audio stopped and then started over from the beginning. There wasn’t a way to fast forward or rewind the sections. I wanted to replay something at the end but had to listen to the whole thing over again.
