Deceiving! Do not sign up! Untrustworthy company

A couple days ago I would have given BulletVPN a glowing review but suddenly they went completely two faced. I bought the lifetime VPN plan and they had a good selection of servers for some time, but just like many other untrustworthy companies, they pulled out the rug unexpectedly. Now USA has only two servers and no UltraHD servers for Lifetime VPN holders. I find this really atrocious and disrespectful to their users. I used to recommend bullet vpn to others, but from now on I will contact anyone who I recommended their service to not only quit but leave a negative review. What a low blow. So disappointed. Look to any other VPN service. This one is a joke.

Very Poor

Used to be a good app but has become very unstable. No new versions in over 2yrs. Think twice before buying.

Waste of money

Clear money grab. Unnecessary data collection. No updates for over a year.

Connected but No internet

I bought lifetime.
Wierguard All location conected but no internet can not look.
Other protocol not conect.not use.

Not for Aussies

Limited server options in Australia, none of which have worked for past 6 months!

Outdated app

The service is fine, when it works. However, there are extremely limited servers, and the app is outdated and has not received any updates. Would I recommend lifetime/this service to others? No, but it’s an ok VPN if you connect to the right servers. I won’t switch for now, but hopefully they’ll update the app soon.

UK Servers Blocked

Beware. The UK servers are blocked by sites such as BBC & BBC iPlayer.

App fails

This app worked good the first 6 months I had it. I haven’t been able to connect for A year now. Sent feedback and diagnostic reports, never got an issue resolved. I guess they got their money and don’t care about fixing the issues. Oh look, after 2 months the developer finally read my review and NOW they want to “help”??? LAME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! How do I rate Less than zero?

End of life vpn

Some locations doesn’t work, support running in circles, but you can find locations that works well. YMMV

Developer abandoned the app

The app hasn’t been updated in nearly a year.

Waste of money

So much for that idea

I discovered I had no internet one night, the next day I called my provider and was told my modem was outdated, but I should still be able to use the internet.
After purchasing a new modem ($169+), I still had no internet.
The tech from my provider was able to connect to my wireless no problem while I still couldn’t.
We decided it had to be the VPN that was the problem, but I couldn’t get in to disconnect it without internet, so I deleted the app and everything went back to normal.
So much for Bullet VPN, they can keep their lifetime subscription, I have absolutely no use for it.

APP COLLECTS SENSITIVE DATA NOW

10/05: the company developing this app have no interest in protecting your data or keeping the app up to date and secure.

6/20: it’s clear they only updated the app to make a quick profit and the added data collection to profit off compromising user privacy. Very predatory and dishonest. I used to give this 5 stars but then they added a lot of data collection, including data that is specifically linked directly to you. Data they do not need to collect to run their app. Until they go back to the checkmark with “data not collected” I can’t recommend and will be uninstalling. Shame on you guys. Running a PAID VPN and collecting sensitive data *you do not need to in order to have the app* It’s been a month with no update and still collecting sensitive data.

Bullet Review

I’m currently doing a trial of the service. My thoughts so far: Good speeds. Nice app UI. No leaks. No disconnects. Wish it had adblock. Missing a few major US locations like California & Texas. Would be nice to have an option to access lan devices. Overall, a decent VPN.
