Selling the Stock
Bumper is an overall great app and really helps with getting to know how the stock market works and how to start out. The only problem is when I want to sell a stock after hours, beside it, the stock will say “Queued”. It says that and so I assumed it meant it would sell when the market opens back up, but no that was not the case. Instead of selling it, the stock would just stay in my portfolio like it was untouched. For Bumper to be a real investing app to help out teens learn they need to do it right.

Best app ever
I am a teen and would just like to say this app is awesome I love it so much I learned how to invest from it my parent loves it so much also. Your info is safe and it teaches you. customer Support awesome they get back to you with the problem fixed. I would 1000% get this app
Only on Apple phones
It’s a great app but you have to have a apple phone to use it because you need to have a Guardian or parent and I’m the only person in my family with a apple phone so please make it on Android but yes it is good app if you have two people with apple phones

Finally a way to get my teen involved in investing
What a great idea! We set up an account for our son and will set one up for our daughter next year. We have been so thrilled to see how this app has helped us to teach our kids about stocks and other investment products. They are so happy when they see an ad on tv for a stock they own. I’d give this 10 stars if I could.

Phenomenal Experience
My daughter has been wanting to invest for a while, and on a whim, I found this app to help her get started. I could not be more impressed by the app. It kickstarted her interest in investing, and I’m surprised to see how such a nascent app is so advanced and fine-tuned to user experience. You can really tell that it was made with a teen’s brain in mind. Honestly, it also has been a great opportunity to have a shared bond with her. Highly recommend for any teen who wants to start investing but still be able to get help from their parent!

Grandparents & Power of Compounding
I’ve struggled to know what to talk about with my teenage grandchildren. I didn’t want to be a source of pressure by asking them about college or work aspirations…I just want to support and empower them in some way, esp my granddaughter, and share the importance of saving and investing in a way that’s fun. Nothing teaches the exponential benefits of saving & investing (vs spending $100 on a pair of shoes) than buying stocks.
The app has given us more reasons to connect and talk…I’m careful not to give advice…I mostly listen and ask them questions about what they are seeing and noticing( social trends, retail, cars, fast food, technology). I came to investing late in my life and I love knowing I’m helping my grandchildren learn the importance of investing in her future. We’re building a stronger connection through our texts and FaceTime conversations and I feel a greater ease in knowing I’m making a difference in their lives that they’ll appreciate long after I’m gone.

Great App
I’ve only had the app for a short time, but I’ve already had more quality conversations with my teens about financial matters than in all the years prior. I particularly like the parent sign-off on an investment choice as it gives me the opportunity to ask, “I know you like the company, but what makes it a great stock?”

Compared to other brokerages, Bumper removes the hassle of having a sponsor sign up in a tedious process. I am planning out investments within the platform and found there to be many advantages over its competitors from being able to simulate yearly profits, and viewing community and celebrity portfolios.
