About

BUNIN is a private, local-first personal health record. It helps you turn scattered lab reports and medical documents into one clear timeline you can review, correct, export, and share — entirely under your control. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your health data is created, stored, and processed only on your own device, encrypted and protected by Face ID. • It is never stored on, or accessible to, our servers. There is no account and no login. • You unlock the app with Face ID, or your device passcode. FROM DOCUMENTS TO VERIFIED DATA • Add a lab result by hand, or import a PDF, scan, or photo. • Text recognition can run entirely on your device. • Nothing is trusted automatically — you review the extracted values, correct mistakes, and confirm only the data you accept. SEE YOUR HEALTH OVER TIME • Organize confirmed results into a timeline and follow biomarker trends and ranges. • Prepare a clear, structured summary to bring to a doctor or a second opinion. YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Export an encrypted backup unlocked by Face ID, or protected by a password you choose, to move to another device. BUNIN is not a medical device and does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, or replace a clinician. Any AI-generated content is informational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. BUNIN is intended for adults (18+). Privacy Policy: https://thebunin.app/privacy-policy.html Terms of Use: https://thebunin.app/terms-of-use.html

What's New in BUNIN

1.0.3

September 12, 2026

• Optional online recognition helper for hard-to-read lab documents — recognition stays on your device by default, and you confirm every send with Face ID. • New privacy control in Settings to choose how documents are recognized: on your device only, ask each time, or ask only when on-device reading is weak. • A clearer review screen for lab results, with simpler messages when you save. • New "Health data for research" section that explains how long-term health data can support science — always optional, kept on your device, and requiring your explicit consent for each use. • Icons added to Settings for easier navigation. • Smoother, more reliable app updates.
