Complaint
Every fishing season from July till the end of September, I had relied on Bouy Weather for important information. The changes that I find during this fishing season make Bouy Weather unrecognizable to me. I guess I can delete it now.

App ruined by latest update
Been using this app religiously for the last 9 years……latest update destroyed the user interface with clutter, unnecessary graphics, unintelligible legends……can't even get the main display to fill the screen……every action is now a science project to pull out of the noise……this app used to be my go-to for quick insights into sea states and forecasts……no longer have the time or energy to dig out basic info like wave heights, periods, met data……cancelling my subscription.

Buoys?
The app is literally titled Buoyweather yet the NOAA offshore buoys are nowhere in the app. Maybe they’re on a paid level somewhere but that’s not happening.

I love the app it’s the best/most accurate app I’ve used for fishing my only reason I give it a 4 star is because premium cost to much$$$.

Very Easy to Use and Reliable
When you go offshore this is the app to use as you plan and the day of your trip. All the data is in one place with easy to understand data and graphics. It’s a must have app for me.

Accurate to a point
Weather forecasters usually depends on actual physical weather stations collecting real data. Using historical data, current data and computer projection models will create v.good weather forecasts as long as the location is not far away from the data source (the weather station) a 200nm distance will still be good
The poor weather forecasts happens when the weather station is 1000’nds of nm away for the area of your boating activities, then the forecasters will have no option but to depend in available historical data and computer models to generate the forecasts.
Apply this to my specific area of operations “The Red Sea” the forecast is more of an indicative data and allows off by 2-3 days.
