About
BuraGym helps you turn everyday walks into a visible record of progress. Start a session with one tap, wherever you are. There are no courses or routes to choose.
Acquired elevation is an in-app activity metric that combines your ascent, walking distance, and pace. See your progress in Tokyo Tower (333 m) equivalents. It is not a measurement of geographic elevation difference.
Record steps, distance, and climbed floors. Review your activity by day, week, month, and year, and look back at individual sessions. Daily step and acquired-elevation goals help you follow your progress. Weather-aware suggestions are available when you allow location access; you can still record a walk without it. BuraGym does not save your route. HealthKit is used to read steps, walking and running distance, and flights climbed only. BuraGym does not write to Health. Newly recorded activities estimate ascent using the device barometer. Gaps are supplemented using flights climbed and remain marked as partially unavailable. Daily totals adjust overlapping activity data to avoid double counting. Earlier saved records are preserved.
The free version lets you start, save, and review walks. It displays a banner ad.
BuraGym Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. It adds a breakdown of acquired elevation and average pace, more on-device trainer suggestions, detailed post-walk feedback and a plan for the rest of the day, advice and feedback history, manual export of saved sessions to a dedicated iCloud calendar, and an ad-free experience. Calendar export requires an Apple Account with iCloud Calendar enabled.
Your Apple Account is charged when you confirm a purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Check the purchase screen and App Store for the current price and billing period.
On iOS 26 and later, an Apple workout session supports continued barometric measurement while the screen is locked. iOS may explain locked-device data access when you first start a session. The App does not save workouts or exercise samples to HealthKit. On earlier iOS versions or when the session is unavailable, recording continues with available sensors; barometer gaps are supplemented and marked partially unavailable.
