My Personal Review (+ Some Tips!)

This game is probably one of the top 3 mobile games I’ve played ever. Even though I haven’t played through the full game (since I can’t buy it), it was a blast to play through the first level. I’ve been trying to beat it with a ninjalicois rank and not take any damage at all. Along the way of trying to accomplish this mini-feat, I’ve made a few tips I could share with anyone else trying to do this (they’re also just good tips in general for the game.)

#1: The Bacon Caltrops
At first glance, the bacon caltrops really just seem to be a gimmicky item that are only used to kill the metal-shielded nugget soldiers. This may tempt you to simply just keep using the pickle burst. BUT, the caltrops can be really useful, especially in the “ambush” rooms, since you can just spam them downwards and pick off the nugget soldiers very easily.

#2: The Nugget General
A little known fact about the bacon caltrops is that you can actually drop them on the Nugget General’s head. This causes for him to do his “@$#?” Stun, as if he was being hit. Unfortunately, this doesn’t do any damage, but it can help with trying to buy yourself time (and for some fun, too.)
Another thing over the Nugget General: the only way to damage him without taking damage yourself is to bait him out of his stabbing move. To trigger it, simple be either directly to his left or right, and wait for him to stop moving. As soon as he stops, swipe until you go to the opposite side of his back, and as he’s stabbing nothing, you can pull off a clean attack.

#3: A Secret Scroll
Scattered around the level, you can potentially find these hidden scrolls around the map. I don’t really know much about them myself (since I don’t own the full game,) but they’re cool to collect and might be important later. The pieces are quite well hidden, with each one needing knowledge over certain items in order to obtain them.

That’s all of the tips that I have over this game. Overall, I must say that this game was an amazing experience and a whole load of fun to play. I must say bravo to both Gabboco Games and Gabe Swarr for creating this absolute gem of a game for mobile. I’m excited to see what you and your team “cook up” next! :^)

This game is great except I can’t beat it..

I played this game and it’s so much fun but the only problem is when I beat the General Chicken the game doesn’t show an cutscene and the game just sits there.

Response from developer

That’s where you need to make an in-app-purchase to unlock the rest of the game. You can also swipe on the level select screen to reach the IAP button as well.

Amazing!

A fun game that’s both exciting and interesting as the game progresses.

Fast-paced action puzzling

Such a surprising, action-packed romp. Who doesn’t love a burger, especially one who happens to be a ninja trying to save his other burger pals from evil villain foods. A seriously fun time that you can play in spurts.
