About

Your calorie app is guessing your metabolism. Burnin measures it. Every other tracker runs a formula on your height, age and sex, calls the result your maintenance calories, and never checks whether it was right. When the weight stops moving, you are left assuming you are the problem. Burnin compares what you actually logged against what the scale actually did, and keeps solving for the number that reconciles the two. That is your real maintenance intake, including whatever consistent bias sits in your logging. It does not need your tracking to be accurate. It needs it to be consistent. WHAT THAT CHANGES Your calorie target is re-estimated from your own data instead of being set once and defended forever. When your metabolism shifts, the app tells you it shifted, and by how much. Weight forecasts at 7, 14 and 30 days come as ranges with a confidence badge, not a single fake number. A body is not precise enough to justify one. The weight chart reads in day, week and 4 week views, so you see the trend through the daily water noise instead of reacting to it. Protein, carbs and fat are worked out from your goal, your weight and your activity. No sliders to guess at. LOGGING TAKES SECONDS Type it in plain language. Say it out loud. Scan a barcode. Photograph the plate. Everything lands in the same editable card before it is saved, so a wrong guess takes one tap to fix. The photo and language understanding run on a model on your phone, so logging works with no signal at all. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN Calories remaining as a ring on the Lock Screen, macros remaining in the rectangular one, and a fuller widget on the Home Screen. Tap either to land straight in the log. YOUR DATA IS YOURS, AND PORTABLE There is no Burnin account and no Burnin server. Your food log, weight history and meal photos stay on the device. Export the whole thing whenever you like. Not as a proprietary dump, but as an Open Nutrition Log document, a format we wrote and published because no portable standard for a food diary existed. Import merges rather than overwrites, so restoring an old backup never deletes what came after it. If you also use Cookin, our recipe app, the two share one copy of the AI model between them rather than making you download it twice. Available in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Free. One banner on the profile tab, never on the logging screens, and never anywhere near a calculation.
