Needs a “refresh” button

Often times when I check this app for rainfall totals it will only display what the totals were at the time you first opened the app, whether that was 5 minutes ago or 5 days ago, and the only way to reset it is to shut your phone off each time which is a pain. The app really needs a way to refresh itself or let the user manually update the rainfall totals.

I’ve had this app for probably 10 years it has changed names a couple times. Every time it changes names, it gets worse. I’m not signing into my bank app why do I need to email verify a code every time I want to check the rainfall.

Prices Doubled in a Year

Price has more than doubled in the past year. The “lite” plan starts at $199 now any anything cheaper isn’t very useful anymore.

Used to be good

Skeptical at first, but now use it everyday

I'm always a bit skeptical about trying new software for the farm, but Bushel Farm is definitely really helpful for our family farm.

Easy to check rain and satellite imagery, and love the JD connection.

Was affordable

I used to mainly use farm logs to track rainfall. The older app was affordable for rainfall tracking in our fields. Now it costs hundreds of dollars to have the same feature. Not worth, it the new company has become greedy with money. Bring back the old pricing and I will change my review.

Forcing customers to pay for service after changing names

I’ve had farm logs for several years simply to monitor rainfall on food plots at our hunting property since I live 2.5 hours away from it. No charges and it was user friendly. Now all of a sudden there’s this change and I can’t access my previously selected fields or rainfall information without paying a fee for usage. There was no information that I’m aware of sent to me indicating this change especially now a payment for use. I don’t mind paying for services but being forced in this manner, NO THANKS. I’ll choose another option since I wasn’t important enough to be informed of the changes until I simply couldn’t access my account.

We understand change isn't always easy, but is sometimes necessary. Although we could have taken other paths to cover costs, like displaying third-party ads, we did not want to negatively impact our customers’ experience. Instead, we opted to provide the rainfall information at an economical price validated by thousands of Bushel Farm users. We did provide notice of this change several different ways, such as email and in app messages, but it's possible you missed those. What is once great but fell to greed

I’ve been using this app for years and years for free just to check rainfall at my house and business then they changed and now suddenly they want me to pay $79 a year just to see the rainfall amounts? Typical like so many other companies looking for a way to charge people for something that used to be free. Now I’ve lost my properties because I’m not paying for something I’ve been getting free for years. I found another app called Raindrop that’s just as accurate if not more accurate so thanks for nothing Bushel Farms.

Hello, it's not possible to see in the mobile stores, but we do have Add-Ons available in our web app. We created an Add-On for rain after hearing from users that they don't always need all the features included in our Essentials plan. The Rain and Heat History is $10/month through the FarmLogs web app. Recent rainfall and YTD rainfall totals are still included in the free plan, FarmLogs Lite. You can read more about all the options here: farmlogs.com/pricing. It’s necessary to charge for our services so we can continue to provide and improve them, but we understand the new plans may not work for everyone.

Used to be great

I don’t even remember what the original version was called but I had it for the last 5 years, it was always reliable, now since it’s been changed to bushel barn there has been numerous changes and not for the better, the latest change is charging for app use, I don’t see an option to run it with ads or I would.

Disappointed

When it was Farmlogs loved the app! When they sold out to Bushel farms is all changed. Rain amounts not even close to accurate. Now they are charging $75 a year to get inaccurate rain totals. Delete if app.

Was a great app until paywall

I’ve used this App since it was Farmlogs. It was great to monitor food plots for hunting purposes, in addition to the rainfall feature. And it was free with a subscription option. Bushel bought Farmlogs out at some point, and now sometime after that, Bushel only offers subscriptions. I will now be uninstalling after using the app for a number of years.
