A reliable school bus app isn’t a luxury.it’s a necessity for students and parents.
The current school bus app for kids is not working reliably. The school board should consider developing an alternative app that provides basic information such as bus location, delays, pickup times, and notifications. It is frustrating when parents and students cannot access important transportation information. A simple, dependable app would greatly improve the experience for families.

Absolute Trash
I tried to check if my bus would have a driver shortage and it never told me also it never gave me a notification that my bus wouldn’t have come this morning I had to go to the Google website to find that out just use Google
Works Perfectly
Not sure what people in these reviews are having problems with. I followed the prompts, entered my schools, added bus routes and it works perfectly fine. I’m getting push notifications and notifications in the app. All the routes I selected show up. It wasn’t difficult at all. All the bad reviews are wildly inaccurate and seem to be problems with the user and reading comprehension over the app. You have to know what bus and school your child goes on/attends. That’s the most difficult part and has nothing to do with the app. All routs are present. I go to 4 different schools in Guelph ON and it is updating and notifying me regularly. Works as it should and I would recommend it to anyone with an IQ higher than a parakeet.

Really unreliable
Every time I use the app, I turned on notifications they barely or ever work. Sometimes the app refuses to open.
No notifications
Notifications don’t work. Yesterday the bus was delayed. No notification. Today the bus was cancelled. Again, no notification.
Completely unreliable
It doesn’t matter if it has notifications enabled or not it never gives you notifications reliably.

When trying to sign up as soon as I try and enter a school district the app crashes. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times with no luck.

This app is useless, you have to find your bus stop each time and it doesn’t tell you that the bus is delayed until after the bus shows up late. Hopefully the glitches will be figured out soon
Awful app and customer contact
you can it see any of the words to be able to select the school board. They all are overlapping. Can not find contact for help just quotes. Yes I tried reinstalling app. Took a screen shot

Out of area notices
Despite me subscribing to one school and 1 route, I keep receiving notices for areas not applicable to me. FE I have received 4 notices this morning between 5-6am, 3 of which are for a different school board and 1 is different city and zone.

Horrible app
This app is terrible. I can’t tell you how many times I will get a notification saying my son’s bus is delayed and it was actually on time. Not only was it on time, but he had been home for an hour already. Completely unreliable for bus updates.
User Interface issues
1) When selecting the bus routes to monitor, the app displays a scrollable list of routes to select from. However, for longer lists, a persistent keyboard display covers the more distant items in the list and prevents the user from selecting them. This appears to be a bug in the code.
2) Although a user can manually enter the code name of a bus route (assuming he/she knows it), it’s not obvious how to do this. Apparently one needs to tap a line of text above the scrollable list – a text line that looks more like a header for the list than a button to be clicked.
It looks like this app was not properly tested on typical users.

Stopped working
Even though the newer version says it’s fixed the error it hasn’t. Opening the app it says “failure to load notifications” and nothing works afterwards
It has one job to do
It is supposed to send you a notification when a bus is late. It doesn’t. It shows you a late bus if you open the app, but zero notifications are sent.
