Sobbing crying this is AMAZING!! The challenges that some characters faced and in the end and realized that it’s okay to be who you are and you can do whatever you want do not let other people forced you to do it! Great moral and funny lines, it really shows how some people feel and it makes me happy because this game shows all of the challenges that every character is facing. In the end it’s an amazing game with great characters even though it’s a bunch of reading I enjoyed seeing the characters reactions and there feelings. So thank you for creating such an AMAZING game.

I love this game and it’s sequel
I love playing visual novels! It’s one of my favorite hobbies ever. But, the thing is I get bored really fast. So, sometimes a few minutes into the game I lost interest and delete it. This is NOT happen with Butterfly Soup. Saw Gloom play this and gave it a shot. I was hooked!!!
This story is so funny, touching, heartwarming, real, and relatable. I have nothing but praise for this. One of my favorite video games ever. This game and it’s second game is awesome!!!! I was really invested in every single one of the characters and their life. I feel like I could see the characters be actual people you know not just this video game character. I love all of them so much and this game just holds a special place in my heart.

I am honestly in love with this game
Ok so I’m a major fan of visual novels and otome games and stuff like that, and I was looking for one on mobile bc I was bored, and I found this. I saw the rating and I was skeptical, I mean 5/5 stars, I thought that was impossible, but then I played it. I couldn’t stop laughing the entire time, and it was honestly one of the best games I’ve played. This definitely deserves the 5/5 stars it got, and honestly I would give it extra stars if I could.

This is an amazing game, i love it sooo much! I love the charachters, the plot, the everything! And lately i havent been able to get off tictok, but honestly i like this game more then tictok. Even tho ive only been playing it for an hour i love it so much.

I don’t usually write reviews, and rarely after I’ve just finished a game. But this game was such a great time that I needed to say something!
I’ve never been particularly interested in visual novels before, but this one is special. It feels like a love letter to queer women and afab folk, with genuine heart and humor. Occasionally a scene will be very impactful, as a queer woman who grew up in the 2000s a shocking amount in this game was familiar.
Each character is sweet and fleshed-out, their provided backstories are crushing and realistic, and their dynamics are fun to watch and read. The dialogue occasionally drags on too long, but that is to be expected with teenage dialogue steeped in meme culture.
I could have played hours and hours of this game. This is the start of something incredible, I have just barely tasted the beginning and I’m already hungry for more.
I cannot recommend this delightful interactive experience enough. My highest compliments to all those on the team, and hope you make more!

I love Butterfly Soup
As you can see from the title, 6/5 !! If I could I would legit rate this a 6 not even kidding. The characters and story are great. Plus I like the parts when you get to interact with their 2004 and 2008 world. I love Diya’s and Min’s relationship they are so cute and I want to see if Noelle and Akarsha ever rlly become better friends if there is ever a Butterfly Soul 2 !! I also would want to see everyone’s adult life now considering what happens at the end I don’t wanna spoil too much yk :) This game is amazing and I’m so thankful that it’s free I would definitely recommend playing if you want to play a game of sapphic and queer Asian Americans

I never liked story games or just in general stories in games. I would always skip them. But I randomly came across this app and saw that every review was positive so I gave it a try. I spent 2 hours nonstop reading because its just so entertaining!! I love the characters and how realistic they are. And I had a few laughs from it. Good job on this story 😊

IT WAS ADORABLE!!
I think it was so worth playing. I saw it in the recommended when I was looking for games and I downloaded it. It’s pride month and I am Bi-sexual and half Japanese so it was a must get for me. I honestly loved it and it was so funny. Lots of bad words but other than that it was terrible fun and cute. I loved the end and I think it should be more popular and played. I loved that they named the dogs the names that Diya picked when they were at the baseball game. I would give it more stars if I could, that’s how much I love it!

This was amazing! I wish they would have given more story, because I would have played it if there was more story! The characters were amazing, the visuals were amazing, and I loved it. I love the ship min and diya, but for some reason I ship Chrissa with Nora, and Nora with the girl who loved making jokes! Once again I loved this game, and I hope I encounter another appropriate story game like this one! (I know cussing is not exactly appropriate, but it passes for me!)

I just finished my first play through of this game and I LOVE IT! I can’t even put into words how much fun this game was. The characters, the heartwarming scenes, the memes, everything was so amazing! This is definitely a game I will be replaying a lot!

First off this game has theee best storyline to it and so many directions to go with it, I’ve actually started writing my own little story for it! I love every character and every event and only wish there was more to it! Please make more when possible friend I was so heart broken when it ended!!!!

I’ve played this game at least through at least 28 times. (I’ve had it for less than a week.) The only thing I want is someone like min. Diya and me are so similar, and there’s a girl I know who’s just like min and I want something like them so bad.
