About
Buvigo makes sharing and finding locations simple—without long address descriptions. Pick any point on the map, give it a name, and get a permanent 10-character Buvigo ID you can share in seconds.
How Buvigo ID works
Every Buvigo ID is exactly 10 characters: a 6-character letter block plus 4 digits. The system generates the code automatically when you create a point.
Examples: ABCDEF1234, LOVE__7777, IGGJXV5680
The letter block holds up to 6 letters (A–Z). Shorter words are padded with _ to fill 6 characters. Codes are case-insensitive.
Create a point
On the Create tab, pick a location on the map, use your current location, or search for an address. Add a label (e.g. Home, Office) and optional notes (floor, door code, directions). Choose Public or Private, then tap Create. You can copy the ID, share it, or show its QR code.
Search a Buvigo ID
On the Search tab, enter a Buvigo ID or scan a QR code. When the code is complete, tap Search to open the point on the map with label, address, and navigation options. Shared links open the location directly in the app.

Recipients view the point on the map inside Buvigo. If the app is not installed, they are guided to download it.
Public vs. private IDs
Public: Anyone with the ID can search and open the location.
Private: Access is restricted. You can require a 4-digit PIN, or owner approval before the location is shown. Manage private IDs under My IDs.
Live location sharing
Need to share where you are right now? On the Live tab, start a temporary live session (15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes). You get a short code and QR; others can follow your real-time position until the session ends.
My IDs
All your permanent Buvigo IDs are listed in one place. Copy, share, edit, set a primary address, or delete. Each account can create up to 25 permanent IDs.
You are responsible for the points you create and share, and for how others use the information you publish.
