Love the app
Love this app and has changed my whole perspective to buying stuff and how I use my purchasing power. I just scan and look at who owns it and look to see companies standings on recalls, lawsuits, etc. only thing that sucks is the quizzes don’t work, it just brings me to a barcode not found page 😢👍

Disappointed
Didn’t work very well! From trying to create an account to scanning it kept glitching. Only a couple scans worked then it stopped. The couple that did work you have to pay extra to get more info on company. $5/mth is too expensive. A lower flat fee I would have especially if the app was working properly!

Why do I need to sign up for an info app? Why do they need my personal information?

I’ve tried to create multiple accounts and no matter what I do it just kicks back as sign in failed.
It’s also odd that it kicks me to some random ********supabase.co to take my info.

No way to set up login
Downloaded the app. It asks for email and password but no way to set it up from the start. Tried forgot password but nothing sent to my email. Needs the bugs worked out of this app.

The app seems like a cool idea, but the core feature being locked behind a monthly paywall seems to go against everything. The app should be standing for.

Privacy Policy hidden
Went to download this App because it was recommended by Ian Carroll Podcast. You cannot read the privacy policy and terms of service when you try to read either it automatically confirms acceptance of agreement. Tried to locate terms and policy using other ways and received a 404 error. Something is not right or legal about this app. Would recommend further research before downloading and using. Will reevaluate my review if I get an explanation from developer or if this is a glitch it needs fixed. It should be more transparent to user.

Absolutely amazing and informative!
I absolutely love this app. It is so informative and so beyond comparison of other apps I love the bar with attitude and natural ingredients. It’s absolutely worth the download. App crashing? you may need a new phone? No trouble here w/the iPhone 12 mini or Air. If product isn’t found just do these guys the favor by adding the info, they may not live where you live 🤯🫢 I couldn’t imagine all the work 3 guys have put into this for pissy🍑 reviews. Wish it would work.
Other people’s reviews seem to be raving about this app. The problem is I can’t get it to work for me. Every time I try opening the app, it just stays on the Buy’r logo screen and nothing else. Really unfortunate. Hopefully the developers fix the issue. For the time being, my rating will stay at 1 star.

Really love the mission
Super excited to know if I’m supporting a true smaller business or a megacorp hiding behind another mask. I would really love if you could browse categories of products that are already in the data base. For example, instead of having to search “shampoo” there would be a tab where products have already been categorized as shampoos and you can browse them and maybe have a filter specifically for “founder owned” “co-operative” etc. This is a huge first step to making changes. Vote with your dollars!

Great app and great dude
Great app. Works. Worth the subscription right out the gate. Putting all the goymies on it now. Would love a better local feature for those in my neighborhood who wanna swap intel, forage mushrooms and occasional hop in the trash to scavenge out new “junk” and 20 loaves of yesterday’s bread from department stores.

Cannot even complete login
I was really excited to finally download this app after seeing videos of the creator. The app is completely useless. Unable to sign up and log in ( tried logging in with Apple, Google AND regularly entering in my email. Closed and restarted the app 3 times. ).
