I’m sitting in the bar. It say I’m too far away. Thinks I am 2 miles away. And yes I have location services on. Where is app support?
It keeps crashing, unusable feces
I’m literally at the bar and am watching other patrons play while I can’t participate; since you did away with the playmaker device. What’s more, I cannot access the venue through the app, it keeps crashing with the error message “oops, please logout then login again”. I’ve done it several times. Along with rebooting my phone, deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times. It still won’t work. I guess the easiest solution is to trash this and forget about it. Which is sad, I’ve been a player for nearly 2 decades SMH.

Terrible
Does not work at all!!! Says error, log out and back in even though it’s showing my location.
Completely unusable
Was at a restaurant and downloaded the app and about the only thing that worked was the location services found the restaurant we were at. After that it failed to find the active game repeatedly. Reset the app multiple times and it sporadically was able to find the game and let me in, but every time I was able to get in it kicked me out after 10 seconds and then say there were no games available again. Gave up after 20 minutes of trying to get it to work and will never try it again

Buzztime is hands down the best trivia game I have ever played

Cant play while in an establishment because the app tells me I am miles away?

When I log in and I’m in the Buzzyime host establishment, it tells me I can’t play because I’m 2.11 miles away!

Location On, still says I’m 2.5 miles from the Buzztime location I’m physically sitting at!! I prefer playing on my phone instead of the ones they give. Pointless to have this app that doesn’t work!!

Terrible app. Will let you login but then immediately gives you the message, you are to far away from where you are trying to play at, even though you are sitting in the bar.

Buzztime made a change so this app no longer works. They are fully aware that it is not working, management just doesn't care.

I travel a lot outside the USA but does it say it will not work outside the USA, no of course not
No Hold’em
The old app supported the Hold’em game, this one does not. No use for it with no Hold’em.
Loved it! And then...
Was so happy when this app allowed me to play from home a couple months ago! Covid lockdowns made going to my favorite Buzztime spot impossible. But then my bar stopped carrying Buzztime... After probably 15 years... Now the nearest location is 16.37 miles and the app says I can’t play. The other was 13+. Should it make that much of a difference? Cuts me out and the other 7 people I passed this on to. How about a 30 mile radius Buzztime? Please?

Location Problems
The very first time I tried this app from home, I was able to play folks at my local pub. A few days later, I’ve been slotted in at another pub and can’t get back to my local.
Also, a constant leaderboard after every question is how this works in the pubs. It should happen on the app.
Also, why pick and choose the hour long games?? Put them all on. Spotlight on Friday nights is a huge draw, but we can’t play from the app...doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Hey, here’s an idea; have someone actually take care of this app! It’s Friday, September 4th and your “Topix” topics are a month behind. If you don’t care about user feelings, then shut the damn thing down!

I love this app but..
It has a location issue. My location is on and it can’t seem to get my location and frankly it’s making me quite upset
Disappointed
Got an email that Buzztime can be played at home . Unfortunately, I keep getting kicked out of the game. This happened also this spring when this opportunity was offered. Our WiFi is strong but I cannot play two questions in a row. Sooo disappointed.

It’s cool that you can play this game from home or at the bar without using one of the devices everyone else has been using. The reason for two stars? There is no way to see who your competition is or how your points compare to others.
