Best app for flying!

I love this app, so much, I only just got it and it is amazing. But, just a feature request, could you add a feature where you can see if it has wifi, the wifi name, and maybe other stuff?

Not great yet

The app has a very nice design, but the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. For example the app rarely if ever pulls up automatically the inbound aircraft, and despite allowing me to add the information (tail number) manually, which I get from flighradar24, the app does nothing with it.

So delays are rarely predicted accurately because the app just doesn't have the right information.

A Great Free Alternative to Flighty!

I used to have App in the Air, but sadly, it shut down. 😢

I then switched to Flighty, which is a great app, but most of its features require a subscription. I used Flighty for about a year, but I eventually realised it wasn’t going to work for me.

So I started looking for other flight trackers and discovered byAir. It has many of the features I loved about Flighty, but they’re available for free! You can also save your flight history directly to your phone.

I’d definitely recommend byAir to anyone looking for a great flight tracker, especially if you’re an aviation geek! ✈️

Definitely one of the best flight-tracking apps out there! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Better than Flighty

Excellent app, I had an emergency flight which the app quickly picked up. Flighty however had no record of it… UI is amazing. Very good!

Очень радует, что можно бесплатно импортировать историю полета из других приложений без ограничений. В последних обновлениях сделали красивую ID с перелетами. Но есть недочеты: время перелета не синхронизируется после добавления (например изменилось время вылета, но в приложении отображается старое). Также было некорректное отображение времени фактического вылета и посадки самолета.

Everything is very good, add ability to see your seat map and status in loyalty programs. Add hotel stays and train rides with carriage, class/room type and number

Love it - App in the Air Alternative

Love using this app. I used to be a user of App in the Air up until it shut down and I had struggled trying to find a similar alternative to it. I came across byAir and it is so similar to App in the Air but a little bit cooler.

Great For Travelers And Crew

I love byAir. As a training pilot, it’s so nice to have a redundancy for my log, and it’s super nice to have stats available for those. I wish the lifetime subscription didn’t increase in price so drastically recently, but that is my only gripe. Another feature I’d love to see is the flight map on the “upcoming flights” section like on Flightly, but even without it, I’m a happy camper

Great app for regular flyers.

I've been looking for a replacement for the late lamented App In The Air app and byAir is the best I've found. Used it a couple of times now and it's pretty good at showing everything you want to know about your forthcoming flight, getting through the airport and relevant flight info. Unlike some competitors it actually shows you time to check-in, boarding etc and gives you warnings if you're running late. Support pretty good so far too. So if you do much flying, grab this app.

Die App ist beim Suchen nach Flügen auf direkte Flüge limitiert. Dadurch wird sie für die meisten Nutzer unbrauchbar.

Calendar Sync

Flighty has a feature that detects when flights are deleted from the calendar and also deletes it from the app which helps crew members from having to constantly delete flights from the app as their schedule changes.
