The app has a very nice design, but the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. For example the app rarely if ever pulls up automatically the inbound aircraft, and despite allowing me to add the information (tail number) manually, which I get from flighradar24, the app does nothing with it.
So delays are rarely predicted accurately because the app just doesn't have the right information.

A Great Free Alternative to Flighty!
I used to have App in the Air, but sadly, it shut down. 😢
I then switched to Flighty, which is a great app, but most of its features require a subscription. I used Flighty for about a year, but I eventually realised it wasn’t going to work for me.
So I started looking for other flight trackers and discovered byAir. It has many of the features I loved about Flighty, but they’re available for free! You can also save your flight history directly to your phone.
I’d definitely recommend byAir to anyone looking for a great flight tracker, especially if you’re an aviation geek! ✈️

Better than Flighty
Excellent app, I had an emergency flight which the app quickly picked up. Flighty however had no record of it… UI is amazing. Very good!

Очень радует, что можно бесплатно импортировать историю полета из других приложений без ограничений. В последних обновлениях сделали красивую ID с перелетами. Но есть недочеты: время перелета не синхронизируется после добавления (например изменилось время вылета, но в приложении отображается старое). Также было некорректное отображение времени фактического вылета и посадки самолета.
