Useful but Klutzy
I appreciate the access the the content and it is easy to navigate. But I am frustrated by having to logon each time I use the app.
The app leaves a lot to be desired
This app leaves a lot to be desired. The search function does not work well. It seems that you can get a list of articles based on the search term, but you cannot access the articles beyond knowing the title. I’m hopeful that improvements are coming soon.
Has a ways to go
I cannot give more than three stars because:
- no way to bookmark point to which current reading has progressed, and in which issue.
-"study aids" on opening screen are nice, but they are merely access to very specialized details which are only useful if one desires to pose very particular, though very interesting, questions. I expected to find tools to aid academic study.
I have been unable to effectively use the search tool. Seemingly this requires one to know whether to search before “quarterly” was appended. I am seeking a particular article and it won’t reappear.

Great Resource
This has some great scholarly LDS resource.
A must for great LDS-related information
I use this app multiple times a week. I travel for work and having this app on my iPad is a marvelously wonderful way to read, learn, and study while on the road (or in the air as the case may be).

Getting better...
I've been a subscriber to byu studies quarterly for some time now and am highly impressed by the content of the of the periodical but for those of us who get it electronically the app has been less than equally impressive. It certainly has over time improved and I'm really thankful for it. I'm sure as time goes by it will exceed expectations and become more useful and functional as a reader.

BYU Studies is awsome, this app not so much. It would be a great app if it worked, it's been locked up for about a week and I can't access my content.

Wanted it to work on my iPad but will not currently work. Tells me cannot connect to Internet, FIX it
Great, but needs to be fixed...
Great content, but not currently working with the newest iOS update. Keeps showing a "connection lost" message. Would love to see it fixed so I can get back to studying. Terrific articles.
Not working, so sad
I cannot even open it. Every single attempt is interrupted by "connection lost" - although internet works fine. Please help and solve the bugs.
Doesn't work for iOS 9
Sad. The most problematic paid app I've ever tried to use; I keep coming back because the content's so good—when it's available. No search. No bookmarking. No updates. Sad.
No longer working
With the latest OS update this app no longer works. When it I opens, within 3 seconds, I get a connection lost message, which asks me to retry. If I retry, I get the same message. I have a good Internet connection, so I know that is not the problem.
Search function
Not having a search function really hampers this app.
