About
Seven pads. Chords for your MIDI gear.
Play chord progressions on iPhone or iPad, send the same notes to your synths, and keep the takes you love. Hardware-inspired controls, built-in sounds and no subscription.
PLAY THE HARMONY
Explore 12 keys, four scales, triads, sevenths, ninths and suspended chords. Choose Root, Smooth or Open voicings. Shape chords while playing with major/minor, sus4, seventh and ninth modifiers. Freeze a chord to keep it sounding; tap again to retrigger.
GIVE IT MOVEMENT
Strum chords down, up or alternately, with adjustable spread. Explore four whole-chord Pattern styles with eight variations each and a subtle built-in groove. Change Pattern, Variation, Rate and Gate from Live view, or hide the controls and focus on playing. The right two buttons change octave while you play.
FIND YOUR SOUND
Choose E Piano, steel-string A Guitar, nylon-string N Guitar, E Guitar or eight synth sounds. Each new instrument has its own patterns. Add tremolo to E Piano or choose Clean, Crunch or Drive on E Guitar. Four repeating drum kits provide accompaniment. Drums play independently of your chord presses. Add a bass note beneath your chords with seven sounds: Sub, Round, Pluck, Fuzz, Acid, Rubber and Metal. Switch bass off whenever you want.
CONNECT YOUR GEAR
Send the same chord and bass notes you play to compatible MIDI instruments. Keep bass on the chord channel or choose a separate channel. Follow incoming MIDI clock for rhythmic playback. A compatible cable or adapter may be required. Drums stay local.
KEEP THE IDEA
Record performances as timed note events, including bass, then replay them through your chosen sound and MIDI output. Name and revisit saved Takes. Takes are not rendered audio recordings.
Musical playback works offline. No account required. Built-in manual and email support.
