Complete Junk
The app is complete trash! Will not connect to my iPhone or any other that I tried. These Chinese people stole $300.00 from me. I bought this crappy drone in 2019, and have flown it only one time, using just the controller, without the phone and all the features I bought it for. You people are thieves. Fix this app to work. Show us you can be responsible and honorable people. So far you’ve shown us that you are lying thieves.

IT WORKS IF YOU TAKE OFF THE WHITE TOP
Play around with it. Had lots of trouble until we unscrewed the top white cover. Then we saw the green lights and the app started working! Something wrong in the wires in the white cover.
Straight Chinese garbage
Chinese thinks their not responsible since their in another country for the things they sale. This app is horrible it does not connect o the x12 tried with 6 different phones it shows in WiFi options but not the crappy app! Fix this ASAP or I’ll be glad to slap a lawsuit on the company and yes it can happen quick

Could do better...
Lets start with the drone quickly.. A full featured drone, for the price and therefore you should expect it not to be on a par with say DJI. Ao there are a couple of issue; namely GPS Calibration but thats a whole other review.
Back to the app. All in all it does what you need. It lacks photo functions, ev would have been nice but that relates to my previous statement, its not a DJI drone. The app functions all work, communication and fpv are as youd expect, fair and the app doesn't crash 95% of the time, which is nice.
What I find strange is, considering this drone is sold under the C-Fly, Eachine and JJRC brands and they have respective apps, they appear to be slightly different. Some features in one and not the other. The same can be said for the C-Fly 2 app, this is for another drone type but has a flight log and far greater info displayed about the drones “status”.
It would have been nice or would be nice if this could be included in the next update.
Finally, you get what you pay for and considering that, the App, the drone, the whole package is a very good place to start with this hobby.

What’s Chinese for rubbish?
Where to start, about 30% of the features work.
Calibrate gyro- calibration failed
Compass calibration- calibration failed
Pair unit- nothing happens
Firmware version- shows firmware, no updates
Switch camera- works after some Chinese message, but either camera gives error when trying the HD function
No SD card error, even with card inserted
Gimbal adjustment (13) does nothing
The on screen thumb controls do nothing.
I have yet to use any gps function (map, home return) as it never has more than 1 bar signal (flashing green), the drone itself is hardly stays still even indoors on manual mode.
The manual is in bad English

Bad calibration (compás, gimbal, gps)
Gimbal does not work consistently. It stars with camera not horizontally balance after gimbal calibration. Tilt gimbal wheel not working
After several on/off operations it works randomly. This is clearly firmware fault, not hardware. Very badly supported and upgraded for a drone with a lot of sales and recently upgraded with improved distance.
Please urgently upgrade an correct gimbal calibration problems. I am using iPhone X. Assume this is not phone dependent, but just to make sure

Após atualização pra versão 1.3.12 o App não entra e não reconhece o drone Eachine Ex4. Não pareia com o controle

The updated app is available on play store (1.3.11). When will it come to iPhones? My JJRC X12 flies in circles, flies wherever it wants, does not respond to controller and RTH does not work well.... optical flow positioning fails as well. I like the drone but you guys gotta do something about the app or I can see these issues undermining your company.
