Can no longer use
Will now tell me I can’t watch because I am out of my house, but I am in my house. Not on a vpn. Support says they are working on it but no solutions so far. A month later no resolution. Android version no problems. This app is just terrible. Too bad no option for a zero score.

Very basic
It’s ok I guess. You can do basic things like watch tv, record,delete recordings. You can’t scroll back and watch replay on this app like you can on a streaming device, however.
Terrible App
Love my Cspire TV but this app is terrible! Have to constantly delete and reload the app to make it work.

About 90% of the time, you have to delete the app, relaunch it, enter username and password back over each time in order to get it to work. So very frustrating!!

Latest update doesn’t function on iPad or iPhone. Goes to splash screen and stops.
Never been able to use it
Cannot login to use app. Tried deleting it on several occasions & downloading the app again. Still no go. Contacted Cspire about it before & got nowhere, which is not normal (there service is normally really good).

Looks Good, Lacks Functionality
Have had CSPIRE TV/Internet for about six months. This App looks good, similar to Amazon Prime in appearance, but lacks anything more than basic, low level functionality. In this App I can see which she are currently on, which shows and movies I’ve recorded, but I can’t actually watch them on my mobile devices, so really what’s the point? Whenever I try to watch a either a live broadcast or show I’ve recorded I receive an error message to wit: “MUST BE IN HOME TO WATCH THIS_ You can not play this content when out of home.” (Sic) I receive this message even though I AM at home when trying to access content. Apps like this reflect poorly on the company and its products and services.

Do Not work if you have TV Set Top Box(es)
This App does not work unless you subscribe to CSpires TV Service Version 2.0. If you subscribe to CSpire TV service with one or more set top boxes, you are subscribed to Version 1.0. You can turn in all your boxes and upgrade to Version 2.0. However, you must have a Smart TV that allows this App to be downloaded, or purchase and install an adaptor, like the Amazon Firestick 4K, that allows this App to be downloaded. If you are renting, for $10/mo, any set top boxes then you will avoid this fee. If you have more than one TV, there is a $5/mo for each additional TV to use the App independently of the other TV. Once you perform the upgrade, then the App will also work on your iPad, or iPhone. I received this information from a very helpful CSpire representative. Suggest you call CSpire customer service before upgrading.

Cloud DVR Needs Improvement
I’ve been a customer for about 18 months and have overall been very pleased with the fiber internet service. The tv app is just “okay” though. It’s difficult to tell what shows are about to record and there is no undelete feature when someone accidentally deletes a dvr recording. However, the item most in need of improvement is the cloud dvr, especially when trying to watch a program that hasn’t quite finished recording. For example, if you are recording a football game and begin watching before it’s over, the playback is very unstable and often stutters/is jittery. Also, if the game is still recording, for a split second when you begin playback, the CURRENT score is displayed, which ruins the whole game. Good concept, but much improvement is needed.

Only works with the upgraded TV service
If the app won’t accept your C Spire login and password you probably have the same problem I did. I called support and C Spire said you have to have some kind of upgraded TV Service. We’ve got the set top box with DVR (Amino) and the rep said the app doesn’t work with that system. Huh? The service we have costs plenty, but apparently that isn’t good enough. Years ago we had DirectTV and they had an app that would allow us to set recordings, etc., but apparently C Spire doesn’t think that’s a priority for its regular customers. However, I will have to say that in every other respect C Spire’s service has been exemplary.

Rudimentary
This app is rather rudimentary. Kind like U-verse was 5 years ago. 1. You can’t view the guide and select recording for shows to come. 2. When selecting a TV Series it records ‘all’ upcoming episodes, even though many are repeats and previously aired episodes. Example with U-Verse you can record only 1st aired, so you get one episode per week, not the same episode that was repeated 3 times during the week.
The developer should get an account with various vendors (U-Verse, Comcast, etc) and extract their best features.
Oh well, hopefully C-Spire will be open minded to user suggestions.

Love This
This is the best TV product that I have ever used. C Spire TV really made me love live TV again. I really like the “look back” option that allows me to see the programs that I missed over the past 3 days without having to DVR them.
Good app but needs one or two features
The app allows you to see what is currently airing on TV, but it would be better if you could pull up the guide for current and future airings. The ability to view the entire guide as you can on your TV coupled with the ability to record future airings through the app would be great. Currently you can only set programs that are currently airing to record.

Useless
When asked to enter username and password nothing happens after you press enter. Actually worse than useless now that I think about. The old My TV app still works however! So far I have been extremely underwhelmed by the whole CSpire TV and internet experience.
Disappointed
I have been a fiber to home C Spire customer for several years. I had this app on an android phone and it was ok. Recently, I switched from an android phone to an iPhone and when I tried to add this app to my phone was told it is not available under my plan. Why it is listed as available on the App Store is a mystery to me. I give it one star because I cannot give it zero.

Useless
I initially had the app and logged in and it worked fine. Made the mistake of logging out and now I can never login again. What I get is a whirling wheel and nothing happens. Unless you delete the app you’re never able to even attempt to log back in again. It just ignores anything you do. But if you log back in – or attempt to - you just get the whirling wheel again.

I’ve had CSpire TV for 3 months, and have never been able to use the iPhone app. I’ve always gotten the same message:

They have even updated the app and it still doesn’t work. I’m not sure they are actually looking into the problem.
