Great UI, needs to be stable

Beautiful, clever UI, and it remembers your browse position when leaving and returning to the app. But the it's unstable with crashes and freezes happening regularly. It doesn't update the now-playing display with the album cover that's actually playing. It can't continue playing its queue when in the background. The scale on its volume control is wrong, making it difficult to adjust. In fact, almost nothing with the basic playing functions works well. It's a shame there are these problems, I really WANT it to work because of the great UI! Support seems dead as well.

Bugs

What a pity the developers of this app cant sort out all the bugs , crashes .

This app has great potential- come on guys sort out the problems and make this a great app.

Joy

It's a great app. all in one and free, very sophisticated yet simple interface.
A rather rate this a 7🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have great admiration for guys who take pain in doing what they do and perfectly

Great app

Using this to pull music off a Raspberry Pi media server and stream to a Chromecast Audio. It works great! Worth buying.

Works great with mythtv

Along with the C2 app (for playback), this app works great for finding/browsing content recorded using mythtv.

Great interface

Works great to stream music to iPad or Apple TV

Very Impressive App

This multimedia App does a great job in letting you connect to all music, videos, internet radio that you have and what you like. Great for discovering worldwide music that is really great. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

C5 is terrific

C5 is a beautiful app, works wonderfully with the Twonky server on my new NAS.

After hours of unsuccessfully trying other options, including the NAS vendor supported apps, C5 worked instantly!

I'm just using as an audio streamer via AirPlay at the moment so I can't comment on other media. Regardless, strongly recommended.

Very slick...

Very slick interface. Works for me as advertised, streaming from a NAS media server to my Chromecast.

Doesn't work!

If I could leave no stars, I would. It finds your media center easily. What it doesn't do is playback the videos using AirPlay. It lets you select the device to use, in my case Apple TV, but the movie continues to play on the iPad and never transfers to the Apple TV. I also tried playing it on my Sony tv and it gets stuck on loading 98% and does nothing. This is the free version and from my understanding the only difference between the free and the pay version are ads. Do not waist your money on the pay version and do not waste your time on the free version.

Works for me

Tried it out and works very well, needs a few adjustments but overall very happy.

Great App

Smooth interface. Found my DLNA storage device plugged into my Linksys Smart Wi-Fi without issue. Nice slide show of my album art. Worked as advertised and we'll worth the money spent.
Great Job!

Crashes often

Useless app. Crashes often.

Awesome… except for...

Gorgeous, gorgeous graphics. Love the interface. Works with my DNLA easily so in that sense does what it says it should do… so it gets 3 stars. I would happily throw down the $10, heck, even $20 for the full version and rate it 5 stars… Except for the very glaringly obvious problem… which is that iPads dock vertically, and this app is designed for horizontal use only. What on earth is the point?!?! I even thought about trying to buy the iPhone version and using it blown-up on the iPad so that I could get a horizontal interface so I wouldn’t get a crick in my neck from looking sideways trying to pull up some music… they don’t let you do that either.

Needs some work

I'm looking for an app to stream from my dlna server. It looks cool, and found my server, but crashes so much it's unusable. If it gets some stability fixes I'll be glad to add more stars.

No Support For DSD Audio

Please support the DSD container formats (.dsf/.dff). I'm not asking that you transcode the DSD formats, but simply allow your app to pass the DSD audio as-is to a DLNA renderer, capable of playing DSD audio.

Great app

If you have an RDio subscription, files on a server, Airplay or DLNA, I would recommend this app. It plays audio and video off of my Synology server and can access music in RDio from one app. I am not sure I know of another app like it.

Not Worth My Energy

This program brings nothing NEW or USEFUL to the table--look elsewhere!

Home Run

I take that back , Grand slam... Finally the App for DNLA that we were writing for!!!
