What's New in Cache

2.0

May 4, 2026

Cache 2.0 — A new way to scan We replaced the card-scanning engine. Instead of asking an AI to look at the photo and guess what's on it, Cache 2.0 reads the actual text printed on your card using on-device OCR — the same technology behind iOS Live Text. Faster, more accurate, and it works without sending your photos anywhere. What's new: Rebuilt scan engine reads what's printed on the card, not what an AI thinks it sees Player names, card numbers, years, sets, and teams are extracted directly from the printed text SSP photo variations and same-number variants are now identifiable by the unique code Topps prints on every back Faster scans, fewer wrong answers, and your photos never leave your device

Long overdue

The hobby has needed a tool like this for a long time. Very user friendly. Very helpful for expediting eBay listings.

Greatest app ever

This app is so easy to use and I especially like how everything is laid out. I can’t say enough good things about it.
