I could not get past the sign in. Apparently an account is required? On line at golfgilbert.com you can set up an Acct for a non refundable $39.99 per year. Sorry, got to see it and use it first.
powerful tracking
this app is one of the few that allows you to go back after a round of golf and put your individual shots in manually - club by club. some apps do club tracking, but they want to do it using the gps. i use a card and shorthand notation so i don't hold up play, then record the info after i'm done. the online dahsboard via the web portal has a great stats collection.

Absolute waste of time. Entered all my information just to find out my course (the most well known course in the area) isn't in here.
Only 3 courses?!?
Searching for "nearby" courses yields a grand total of 3 courses out of 27?? Weak!

The automatic stat tracking is awesome... I also can now login just fine with this new version. Hopefully they add some more cool features on top of what's there now!

no local courses couldn't even search for a course I even searched pebble beach and it didn't come up ... Don't waste 5 seconds downloading this thing. Hey creators of this app, next time when you decide to get people's hopes up with a sweet looking shot tracker app make sure it is GOOD AN IT WORKS. You should be ashamed by making such a pitiful app or releasing it before it even works. Here is an idea? Contact courses and expand your fricken company to market to different courses. Grow a pair and quit disappointing companies with this alpha stage crap.

Best golf app! Used it on two different courses this week and the GPS is spot on.
Buggy
Once you sign out, you can't sign back in. Have to redownload and it will work. Just don't sign out!

Cannot log in either.
Website looks great and promise of the mobile tracker with yardage and statistics are awesome! But can't log in with my iPhone 4s. So for now, undecided :)

Woot! Next Great Golf App and Community
I'm pretty picky about what I take with me on the golf course, but Golfbert got 98% of it right. I don't believe it's perfect but they simplified just about everything, and the icing on the cake was the impressive community features where all your stats are uploaded and stored. I can't wait to see all the creative ways they use your data to improve my golf game.
I'm anxious to see what they have rolling out in the near future as I hear it's under tight lips, but should be rather impressive.

This app gives me all the information I need for my favorite courses. No bugs and works great. I have been waiting for an app like this for a long time.
