I really enjoyed this game. Loved the plot music and challenging enough but not not to the point of being frustrating. Would love to see more games like it.
Jazz Soundtrack Fabulous
I’ve probably spent hundreds of dollars on HO games and never played with an African American woman character until this game. Wonderful to play a game with an African American heroine! Please do that more often; more diverse characters please. Even if they’re fairies, elves, detectives, critters ... Latino, Asian, Native American, African American ... be more inclusive.

Smooth Ride
If you want to relax in the evening with a glass of sherry and listen to some jazz with pleasant company and great graphics~ oh yeah, and want to solve a great mystery and play a lot of fun games~ you have found the right game for you.
Why 1 star?
Because I got cheated for $2.99. There are two of the same game in the store and this one actually did work on my iPad after paying the new charge. So I had to pay the same $2.99 for a new download of a different game. REFUND ME! Get the other game out of the store!

Totally different and unique, loved it..not your typical game, my favorite part was finding the tickets and the treasures. Loved it!
It's not as good as reviews say IMO.
I purchased this on special price of $3, glad I did! The reviews for both paid and trial are very good but all I experienced was a game that I was glad to finish. The good was that this game doesn't have the usual protagonist and the jazz was great. But IMO, some of the HOPs were tedious as well as some of the puzzles. Map is useless. The story line is implausible to me. Unrealistic actions of some of the law enforcement in both the main and after games. I expect this in supernatural games but this was a police procedural that just didn't ring true, even by stretching the imagination. Plus because the game is older, I had a LOT of trouble entering my name as the player. My review is, pass this up for newer games if you have new hardware and/or don't like unrealistic characters.

UPDATING: GROWING ON ME... 🎶
Cadenza: KOD is a must play sequel! Great map, interesting puzzles and bargain for $2.99! Long-winded story line bogs it down some, but content makes up for it. Added a star for the music, especially the singing! Loved the first game-my all time favorite. Thank you, Mad Head. More, please!

I love H.O.G. and this is one of THE best games I have played. So many twist and turns and I was completely absorbed in the storyline. The best thing about the game is the music (which I never keep on but I did throughout this game) and the racially diverse cast! Please, please make more of these games. I'm definitely hooked!

Wonderful! Not your typical HOS game
This game was interesting, clever and unique. Not to mention that half of the characters in this story are black, not caucasian. Finally a little racial diversity. Another thing I loved about this game is the HOS were different than all the rest of the million HOS games out there. I thoroughly enjoyed Cadenza: The Kiss Of Death and hope you make more!

Play It Again and Again
Loved almost everything about this game - plot, games, puzzles, etc.
The only improvement is that the 15 second refresh rate did not work in the difficulty menu. It kept reverting back to 90 seconds. This is too long to wait. Please fix.

Kiss of Awesome, but where have the free trials gone???
Love this game. Like all mad head games, the story line is great and the process is creative. Totally a great game, but why no free trial? It is good enough that it would excite me to buy it. The only reason not to have the free trials is if you are not confident the game is good enough to sell itself. Please bring back the free trials, BF is being unfair to its fans! I fee there are games that are getting hit and miss reviews that I might love, but l'm not willing the risk without tasting it.

A game I was disappointed to finish
This was an AMAZING game! It had everything--story, graphics, music, intuitive puzzles and suspense. Most importantly, NO GLITCHES. This game was hard to justify price-wise, especially considering what other Big Fish games cost, but I'm glad I went for it. I will be playing this over and over again.

Painful to play
Have played this game about 30 minutes and am going to just delete it. The map has to be pulled up from a menu and the hint takes too long to charge. Tried to customize the settings and it keeps going back to the default. Crap.
What was there not to like???
This game was one of the best BF games I have played in a long time. The story line was good, the jazz music was great I liked the Louisiana setting and feel I just wish it was twice as long, I hope for a sequel. Even the extra content was good, you could go back into the scenes and find the gold stars you missed, also has a few puzzles and small mini games. Just a great game!!!!

Feeling as though I was part of the story, I was swept along in the dreamy adventure while solving riddles, clues and even doing some CSI work with Margaret the Morgue Lady. 👀
Yes, the map was awkwardly located and the tickets can be a distraction but these are minor complaints stacked against overwhelming raves for all other terrific aspects here. And the price?
What a bargain!
