Cairn doesn't. Apple's Foundation Models framework lets us run a 3B-parameter language model entirely on your iPhone — fast, free, and offline. Cairn collects no data. Not your name, not analytics, not crash reports tied to you. Nothing leaves your phone — your journal lives only on this device. The result is a journal you can actually be honest in. REQUIREMENTS Cairn runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. The on-device AI features (mood tagging, weekly synthesis, voice transcription) require Apple Intelligence — supported on iPhone 15 Pro and later, and any iPad or Mac with Apple Silicon.
