Cakewalk: Small Wins Journal

cakewalk is a place to write down the things you pulled off. big ones, small ones, the ones nobody else would count. it fills up a bakery as you go. that is the whole product. there is no streak to protect, no goal to hit, and no day you can lose. cake walk measures nothing. it only ever adds. logging a win takes about five seconds: a title, a size — a slice, a cake, or a whole bakery — and it is in. a note if you want one. the time is filled in for you and can be moved afterwards, for the win you remember on thursday. then there is the bakery itself: everything you have ever written down, in one place, searchable, growing. milestones for your first win, your tenth, your fiftieth, your hundredth, and a month of this — each one a small moment with confetti that gets out of the way. stats that describe rather than target. and a gentle daily nudge, off unless you turn it on, at a time you pick. what is free, forever, with no account to make: - unlimited wins, and the whole bakery - editing and deleting anything you wrote - milestones and their celebrations - stats - the optional daily reminder - exporting everything you have as a json file - share cards: a pretty picture of a win or a milestone, to send to whoever you like - a home screen widget the golden slice is one optional purchase, once, no subscription: every flavour of the theme, alternate app icons, extra widget styles, extra celebration styles, sticker packs, and the baker's report — your year in the bakery, written up. nothing that was free moves behind it. your wins stay on this device. cakewalk has no account, no server, no ads and no analytics, and it cannot send anything anywhere. your phone's own icloud backup is the one exception, and that is yours to switch off.
