And annoying. You do realize the Apple calc is free? Stop with the pop ups and asking for money all the time! I’m deleting this app. Using my Apple calc is free and no ads

Gets in its own way
A calculator should just be a calculator. That is what this was for about 10 years. Unfortunately now every few times I use the app and just want to do a quick calculation I get a prompt about why I should upgrade to the new premium plan or something. I don’t agree with the new monetisation strategy for this app (I will pay a one off premium price, but I will not subscribe to a calculator), but I appreciate the developer is not forcing long-time customers to upgrade. However, everything is geared towards encouraging you to do that. For that reason, and because I’ve never really liked the interface, I will be moving on.

One time purchase now requires a subscription
I purchased this calculator and have enjoyed it for years. It was advertised as one-time purchase. Now with the latest version it is popping up a subscription authorization screen every time I press the equals button asking for a subscription. It has also disabled a lot of the unit conversion functionality. You can’t offer a product as a one time purchase and then years later after the sale come back requiring me to pay you more money. If this is not resolved soon I will delete the app and never purchase anything else from this developer.
UPDATE: this has been fixed and is no longer requesting a subscription. Thanks for fixing this. I will update my review.

периодически требует подписку несмотря на то что ранее купил это приложение. Сделайте отдельную версию с подпиской и оставьте в покое тех кто поддержал Вас купив это приложение!!!!
Full of annoying popups now
After recent update there are CONSTANT popups reminding you to give the devs money for a calculator even AFTER you bought it. They made the widget super laggy too, it just gets worse and worse with every update.

Subscription
I bought this app years ago when there was no Apple calculator app on the iPad. Now all of a sudden CALC Smart Calculator wants to charge me a subscription fee. For what? It doesn’t do anything better since I bought it. And it doesn’t do anything that the Apple Calculator does already. Total Ripp-Off! I’ll just delete it from my iPad.

Used to be great then introduced subscription pricing
Used to be my favourite calculator for iOS and felt the developers really listened.
However, recently introduced a subscription rather than a flat fee, which is ridiculous for a calculator whose core functionality hasn’t changed for many years. Have now moved to an alternative app.

Best one I’ve found yet, but no hex dec bin conversions. Seems to only have hex, and no way to enter hex, only converts dec to hex, one way.

Wonderful app
Love the app, love the devs. Seriously underrated app and you should buy it! You won’t regret it. In addition, its nice that siri can use the app for calculations via dictation, and then you can pull up the app with one click. Love the widgets too. If I had one suggestion, I wish that it was more similar to a TI-84 calculator, only in the sense where I could see that last 3-5 calculations. I would find it much more useful than only being able to see one present calculation.
