Update Calc xls
IPhone version 17.1.1 does not work with Calc xls. When transferring through older Calc XLS and Dropbox. App hung up at dropbox, will not allow me to return to spreadsheets. I can not retrieve my spreads to update.
Frustrating!
Has the potential to be a decent spreadsheet but selecting multiple cells for formatting, i.e. Merging and border, is frustrating. It also tries to save if you leave your finger on the screen too long. It also asks you every five minutes if you want to upgrade.

Calc xls free
I have been using mariner calc for years but new iphone says it will not work much longer. So i tried the free version of calc xls and cannot open files from One Drive. Tried to import from mariner calc but it won't work. Support wrote me one email and then decided they would not respond anymore so....

Needs updating in order to open on iPad
This app no longer opens on my iPad, and shows a warning that it will not work with future (current?) versions of iOS.
Until then, it was great.

Low support
They are very slow to update with ios updates. Still has bugs from IOS 10
Crashes constantly
Newest update has made app unusable. App support has been no help. Crashes constantly!
Rough start, great finish
First I got the free version. Loved it so I upgraded. Problem was I was using cvs files. Got frustrated. By using DropBox from my desktop, I was able to open those in Excel and convert my original files. I had put too much work in them already. Now I am a very happy camper!
Perfect emergency back up
My lap top died in Puerto Escondido Mexico. This app saved the day. Was able to keep up to date with all my bank accounts and FX transactions all on an old IPad 1.
One little oddity
An imported CSV file must not have any carriage returns (CRs) in the fields or they will be seen as field delimiters also. So every CR will result in a new spreadsheet line. My database app (HanDBase) allows CRs in a text field but I had to go back to the text fields and edit out all CRs. Now that I know this I agree with all the five star comments.

I use it for a record of keeping up with my medications and when to order refills.
I also use it for my finances. It calculates and has color options and even prints, though I haven't figured out yet how to print smaller. Nevertheless,
I am impressed with this free program and plan to make it even more valuable to me by creating a few more spreadsheets.

Ideal so far.
I had written a glowing review - it did not save. Before I rewrite it I am waiting to see how often I must click No to upgrade. I don't need more functions - stop ruining an excellent app.
Still no scrolling
Had been anxiously awaiting an update to fix the scrolling issue. The update finally came last week, but after installing, scrolling still doesn't work. I hope a fix is coming soon.
Help!
Since the iOS update, unable to move screen up, or sideways. I cannot go from one section of my spreadsheets to another without minimizing the whole screen, to the whole spreadsheet is unreadable. Please fix. I would give more stars and a better review if I could actually use my spreadsheet.

I just downloaded and opened the file. On the first page that opened within the application I tried to edit a cell. I received a message that said I could not edit Imported documents. DELETED! Why wouldn't you put that in the description of what the application does. Bait and switch much?
Great Program
I was skeptical of this program, but when I uploaded a complex Excel program from my PC, and it worked perfectly, I was totally impressed. Takes a little practice to use, but is reasonably user-friendly!
Works as advertised
As advertised, this will connect easily with drop box, however, only spreadsheets you create on this app are editable. Must upgrade to do more than view spreadsheets that are already created.
best spreadsheet on iPhone, bar none
I've tried every available spreadsheet on the market and calc xls is BY FAR the most powerful. Every function I could ever think of (including Logical, which I use daily). just starting to use Dropbox and that's just icing on the cake.
Excel who??
Love this app! Does everything I need it to do and works great. You can tell this app was made for the iPhone from scratch. Love the range of formatting options available. Must buy!
Trickery
I really liked this app, but after the update, I lost all of my spreadsheets and I cannot create new ones unless I upgrade. I refuse to upgrade because it is a shady way for the company to force people to upgrade. They are saying "because you didn't pay us for the upgrade, we took all your stuff." I'll delete this app and move on to another one.
