Different from the rest and all the better for it
Calciq performs exceptionally well in 2 major areas. 1) Rather than just having a single history thread for calculations, you can organize calculations into different workspaces. Each workspace can have its own set of variables. 2) It has a popup mini calculator in the menu bar which has proven to be absolutely invaluable. 3) It has a superb visual design. The only other calculator app that even comes close is Calz but Calciq has more and better functional.
I would also like to praise the developer personally. I found a recurring bug in some specific calculation logic and reported my findings to their support email. I was blown away when I received a response in less than 12 hours saying they were able to reproduce the bug and had already implemented a fix to be included in the next app version. That kind of responsiveness to users can not be overstated.
I’m very much looking forward to seeing what the developer plans to add in the future.

I’ve been using Calciq for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the most useful apps on my phone. Very helpful for complicated calculations
