Was working great now not
Idk what happened it used to work fine even with low signal but now my calculations just disappear randomly. It’s very frustrating. I don’t always have a lot of signal I need this to work offline too. I need to be able to keep working on things anytime I can save to device and they disappear more often. Just gone. So frustrated. I need to be able to rename the calculations not just have them numbered with date and time. Whatever text I put at top should be the name but it’s not. It was on a couple idk how I managed that but not anymore.

Doesn’t sync between devices
Very annoying. It also erases completely your tabulations for no reason. It used to be a great app but not so great now.

Easy to Use & Reliable
This app is very handy & easy to use. works flawlessly for me. I've used this for years. I use the duplicate & rename function to create template for repeat calculations. The only thing I would suggest is for developer to provide archive or backup & restore for the all the calculations.

Can the pages be locked to prevent deletion
I really like this app and have been using it for years. I have several pages to keep on track of payments etc.
I would really like to see a function where the page is harder to clear as a few times my data has been wiped in error. Whether I haven’t closed the page and put my phone in my pocket. Then the next time it’s all gone. 🥹

Utilitarian & fast
Every once in a while I try other calculators in the App Store but I aways come back to CalcTape. It’s fast and intuitive for my brain

I’ve noticed by saved data is out of date. Has there been a glitch with the latest update? I’m operating 6.0.6 on iOS.

Best for tracking long calculations
Many calculators let you see a history, but this one is on screen all the time and lets you make notes beside every number as you go along, or after the fact. You can save multiple calculation sheets and add to them over time. This is the best calculator I have ever used.

I have this app also on my Android phone. I feel like it’s more updated on Android. If this had an update that at least fixed the theme issue so the text wouldn’t blend with the theme it would be much better.

I am amazed at How simple to use this is..ive checked and this is one of the rarest calculator tape out there that is so simple practical and straight foward ..ive used it non-stop for 6 years for my budget..beleive me it keeps me on track..plz guys keep this app alive for decades to come..CHEERS !
Purchase Sharing Issue for Family Members
My son is unable to download the app from the Apple App Store. The Apple app store insists on charging a fee, even though I’ve already purchased the app. Purchase sharing is enabled, and both my son and I are part of the same family Apple account.
Paper calculator
This is the best paper calculator that you can use that is on a smartphone device. The apple’s calculator has gotten better, but I use this one when I need to be able to see all my numbers that I am typing. And I can even write a note next to the numbers. So now the combination of this app and Apple’s calculator app it’s the perfect balance of using both of them.

ist es möglich dass man den CalcTape Taschenrechner so einrichtet, dass die Anzeige nicht immer ans Ende der geöffneten Liste springt, wenn man beim bearbeiten zwischen mehreren Apps hin und her wechselt?
Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden und benutze diese App seit Jahren.
