Best Calculator for your Mac, your iPad, your iPhone
I love this calculator. I have it on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. I’m not even sure what I would do to improve it, it seems perfect as it is. I recommend it highly.

The 0 (zero) key should be in the middle, between (.) and (=).

Be careful PERCENTAGE ERROR
Be careful when using percentage as it does not give correct results. I tested several times with other calculators. EXAMPLE USED: 4621.80 X24.33 percent = 1109.23. Except this is not correct result, it should read $1124.48. I did e-mail the developer and got no correction, no answer. I deleted the app on my new M4, 24” I Mac and re downloaded to get the lates version to no avail. (feb 25, 2026). Please fix it! and you will get 5 stars. THANKS

Scribble Pad gets in the way!
I’ve used Calc Max for over a decade (old iPad had no calculator) and loved its clean white display, simple basic functions but with good scientific mode when needed.
But now … WHO THOUGHT THE SCRIBBLE PAD WAS A GOOD IDEA AND WHY MAKE IT SO THST YOU CAN’T HIDE OR REMOVE THE SCRIBBLE PAD.
This App is now ruined!

This app works again, after a brief outage when iOS 26 came out. Very glad to be using it again.

The Calculator App Apple Should Have Built
I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this one deserves it.
I’ve never been a fan of the basic calculator that comes with the iPhone or iPad, so I downloaded Calculator Max a while ago and I’ve loved it ever since. The recent update has only made it better, and I really appreciate the effort the developers have put into improving it.
Compared to other calculator apps I’ve tried, this one stands out. The interface is clean and intuitive, the layout is great, and the functionality is spot on. The history feature is a game changer, it makes it so easy to check and re-use past calculations.
After testing so many alternatives, I can honestly say this app is in a league of its own. Upgrading is absolutely worth it.

Has been my favourite iPad calculator
‘Has been’ being the key words, as with my iPad OS 26 upgrade it seems to have stopped working :( Hopefully, they will update it in the future, and it can rejoin my most used iPad apps again.
