Für mich die beste Taschenrechner-App
Aktualisierung meiner früheren Bewertungen:
Nach rund einem Dutzend Versuchen mit anderen Taschenrechner-Apps bin ich vor mittlerweile zehn Jahren auf diese gestoßen. Ich kenne schon die Vorgänger für Palm OS, die ich seinerzeit viel genutzt habe.
Der wissenschaftliche Rechner kopiert den bewährten Aufbau klassischer Taschenrechner der 80er Jahre. Alternativ gibt es D.A.L.-, Einheiten- und Logik-Rechner, sowie ein integriertes Handbuch und eine Watch-App. Außerdem wird die App kontinuierlich gepflegt.
Ich benutze tatsächlich keine andere Rechner-App mehr.

Deg/Rad Mode Switching Bug - Incorrect Angle Unit Display
I'm experiencing an issue with the scientific calculator app where it's giving me the same result for the inverse tangent function (tan^-1(63/200)) regardless of whether it's set to radians (RAD) or degrees (DEG).
The app shows 0.315 in both RAD and DEG modes, whereas I would expect it to display the result in radians when in RAD mode and convert it to degrees when in DEG mode, which should be approximately 17.48 degrees.
It seems like there could be a bug with the mode switching or the unit display functionality.
Hopefully this gets fixed as hard to trust otherwise.

Toller Taschenrechner
Der Rechner bietet einen sehr großen Funktionsumfang, läuft auf MacOS und iOS, und erleichtert den Einstieg mit einer sehr ausführlichen Bedienungsanleitung. Dabei kostet er nicht viel. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Bester Taschenrechner
Funktioniert wie der alte Casio in der Schule. Und wir regelmäßig von Hr. Öllinger auf das aktuelle MacOS upgedated. Toll! Besser geht der Support nicht!

I submitted a review 3 years ago and at that time I mentioned I had been using this App for two years. So now I have a total of five years expirence .
So I have been so happy with this application and author. I still use the app each day and It works perfectly.
Remember it has full instructions that pop up whenever you turn the iPhone to landscape view.
This is a super super calculator application. I recommend it to anyone studying math, working as an engineer or chemist, working in finance, working or studying computers. Or just about anybody that can use a full featured calculator.
Try it and you’ll like it.

Good calculator, but found a bug.
This is a very practical calculator, with a layout similar to the scientific / programming calculators I've used in the past, but with custom functions, fractions, currency conversions, etc. added. That said, I found what seems to be a rounding error when using fractions:

The calculator doesn't know how to multiply negative numbers
When I put in -5.97^2 the result came out negative. So I put in -5^2 to check and it also came out negative. So I updated the calculator and checked it again and it still came out negative.
But that is the only thing wrong, otherwise very good!

Ich verwende den Taschenrechner schon sehr lange und kann nur sagen, einfach perfekt!Ich würde mich freuen, wenn ich so einen Taschenrechner als echten Taschenrechner kaufen könnte.
Best calculator app on the app store
If you’re a college student like me, you probably lugged around a Ti -84, or at least a casio, from the moment in grade 9 when you learned what a quadratic equation was. You don’t need me to tell you the importance of being able to input large equations coherently and easily, and how it’s vital that you see the input when the output is garbage. For some reason, no other calculator app including PCalc seems to get this right; My calculator isn’t just a tool to do math equations, it’s also a tool to help me remember what I’m doing, I don’t need or use a calculator to just add or subtract. This is the app that finally convinced me to take the casio out of my bag, and I guarantee if it it doesn’t do the same to you then you aren’t setting it up properly. Hopefully the developer keeps updating this, my bag’s full enough as it is.

Universell verwendbarer Taschenrechner für alle technisch-wissenschaftlichen Anwendungsgebiete. Sehr robust. Insbesondere schätze ich, dass es auch eine gute Dokumentation gibt (integriert in der Rechner-App).

Ich frische meine alte Rezension mal etwas auf: Ich verwende den Rechner jetzt schon seit einigen Jahren und für mich gibt es keinen Besseren. Die klassische Gestaltung und der große Funktionsumfang begeistern mich immer wieder. Ein sehr guter Arbeitsrechner!
Expression
This app is close to an actual Casio scientific calculator I am using. My only wish is having expressions in D.A.L shown in much bigger font size, preferably with Arial font. I also want to have expressions showing in the scientific mode. These two additions will make this app perfect for me.

Thank you, for your comment. A new version will be released soon. Besides reusable user defined expressions, different fonts and sizes will be selectable for the D.A.L. mode display.

I sent a support email and got a reply within two days about how to turn off the sound.
