Recommend going with the premium version. When doing important calculations, you don’t want to be stopped from doing work due to ads.

It used to be my favourite calculator app but now it is unbearable there is a video ad EVERY single time you open the app. I’ll have to find a replacement

I’ve had this calculator on my phone for quite a few years. Today, I’m deleting it. Not because it’s a bad calculator. I just had an ad pop up that said my phone is at risk and they’ve detected I’ve been on adult porn sites. They told me the solution is to click the “OK” button, download the app and then run a “clean up file”. This is absolute BS!!! I wish I could post the screenshot!!

Doesn't throw an error mismatched (()
example: ((10-1)x0.1+1/(10-2) should be an error (missed closing bracket) not 1.025 . Maybe it is a setting but I couldn't find it. There is a fraction function but it would be nice if it informed me I have a syntax error. Otherwise it seems to be a very good product not that I have tested its full functionality.

ADpocalypse!
Used this calculator app for 9 years cause Apple's basic app at that time didn't have scientific functions. It was great until developer got insanely greedy just within the past year.
I didn't mind the banner ads, those were around since the beginning and they gotta make some money.
Then dev decided to add a timer that autoplays a video ad on your entire screen every 4 minutes the app is open!
If that wasn't obnoxious enough, it now plays a video ad if you let it sit for a few seconds after EVERY SINGLE CALCULATION YOU DO.
That did it for me. Thankfully, it seems that years later Apple has finally added a scientific calculator to their calculator app so I won't be needing this one anymore.

When I first downloaded this app it was so useful and easy to use. Now it’s annoying with all the ads. We literally see ads/commercials 24/7 it’s soooooo annoying my goodness. Idc how many seconds it is. I don’t want to see that on any apps especially a calculator app. It was cool while it lasted.
