Works well most of the time
Works well most of the time but am having problems with it not saving gender on calves, and having to go back and put in multiple times before it saves.
Works great
We just run a commercial cow/calf operation of 3-400 cows so a lot of the functions aren’t necessary for us. Whenever I’ve had any trouble, they’ve been quick to respond back with whatever it takes to fix the problem.
Keeps deleting & switching
Keeps deleting cow tag # or switching Cow/calf tag # data. After it switches data around there isn’t a way to correct the info in the system. This app has 3 subscription levels thru the developers. Odd as most In-apps subscriptions are done thru apple.
I didn’t subscribe, seemed fishy.
It’s only free for 1 month then it wants u to buy a subscription thru the developer. It wound be worth it if it actually didn’t loose/delete/switch data around.

Calving report
How can I print off my calving report?! I push reports and nothing happens?!
Poor to no customer/technical support
Started off as an awesome app. First 3 years it worked fine. However the app would not sync properly with the online platform only to find a season and a half data disappeared. Most disappointing part was there was no technical support that seemed concerned about correcting the issue. They weren’t even concerned about responding to emails.

Interface good, loses data and poor service
At first I was very happy with the function of this app. But half way through calving, I realized it was not saving most of my cow data. So most (about 80%) of what I was documenting for culling purposes, was gone. Tech support was very responsive at first, but when they acknowledged the problem but could not fix it...they just stopped responding to me. So then I gave up and asked for a refund, but of course they never responded to that request either. Apparently they decided they are just done with me, because they will not call, and they will not reply to my emails.

Like the simplicity
I like how easy it is to use. The app would benefit for more reporting functionality. I would like to be able cross reference cows and calves to easily determine if we missed an entry.
Good but needs some improvement
So far I like what this app has to offer. It makes keeping cattle records easy n simple! And simple is important for us. One feature I would like to see is a printable option for each category so that I can have a hard copy after ai have spent a huge amount of hours on data entry only to (hopefully never) loss the time and data entered. As I use this app more and see how it all works (only started to pre-enter all the cattle n calf numbers), and actually get to use out in the field during the 2018 calving season, I may come up with other suggestions. And mor stars as I go along!

This app is perfect for my operation. There are no issues that aren't addressed promptly with the developer whenever I encounter a problem. I have never lost data, thanks to his on line data base I have been able to retrieve missing data. The heath record option completed and sealed the use of this program for me. It is my main source of record keeping for my operation now. A picture option would be great, even without it I give this app a 5 star rating!

Lack of support is frustrating
Have had for quite a while (couple of years). Works well but a couple of problems persist. When I download the “updated version” the screen doesn’t look like the one in the email. Trying to utilize the “menu” key for both my iPhone and iPad rarely works.
Unresolved issues
Have had problems for 2 years with no resolution. Even after inquiring with the developer twice the problem still exists. The app will change information on its own. The web version is always correct but the app will change entered information on its own. Great concept and much cheaper than CattleMax just wish it worked.

Awful App
This app is terrible.. I like the simplicity and options it has but we lost all our calving data.. I would not recommend!!

Enjoy the simplicity of this app. Clean and easy to use. Please add a photo option. When a cow’s ear tag goes missing it would be nice to associate her with a picture, at least temporarily.

Great way to get organized and keep track!!!
We are a small farm <40 head. I love the semen tank and Breeding section. It's a great way to keep track of your cattle. It is well worth the money go plus.

This app has everything I need at my fingertips! I love it and it's simple! Nice clean, updated feel to it. Hate to admit it, but I can't believe it's free!! Only thing I would add is the ability to add photos of the cows or calves.

Hands down the best calving, breeding and recording tool I own. It goes with you to all parts of the ranch and can be used in large and small herds.

This is my most used app. It's easy to put information in, easy to navigate, and I have all my cattle records in my back pocket! I recommend this to anyone with a smart phone and cattle!
