They ruined this app
This was once an excellent app, but the greedy jerks who make it have added the World’s Most Annoying ads, holding you hostage for fixed amounts of time before you can view details about your books while they force-feed you horrible, tedious, annoying ads.
I will be looking for a replacement for this app ASAP.

Good app - needs some tweaks?
Authentication using OneDrive with MFA causes the app to reset each time you click away to use authenticator app. So it is clunky getting in using other 2fa methods.
Also, .m4b files need to be added to the supported formats list.

Doesn’t work
Tried to use to download books from my local Calibre server. UI sucks and downloading books failed.
It’s working
I don’t know if there was a recent update, but it is working well now. Glad I kept it installed. The interface is a little clunky but I found my way around. I appreciate the free version and may upgrade to get compatibility with Google Drive.
Best App Ever
Easy to use. Seamless. Plus they gave me a 6 month trial. Hoorah!
Marred by advertisements
This app connects well and is easy to upload your library , sadly I had to delete it after just a few hours. The problem lies when you actually try to read a book because there is way too much advertising, it makes it almost unusable
Abandoned app
I had automatic renewal enabled, but once renewed, ads showed up in the app and I found out it had been abandoned.

No iCloud Drive support
I already have my entire Calibre library right here on my phone, synced from iCloud, and browsable from my Files. Any app that bothers to try is able to load and view these files, but this app appears to have no concept at all of local files.
Why would I want to connect a Dropbox or OneDrive account to do something that’s already built into every iPhone for free, and does it better?

不用下载了，跟电脑同步不成功
电脑今天都更新了，手机版本还是4年前，电脑分享的网页都能打开试用，这app打不开分享的网页地址，没办法同步

Does not work
I could not get the app to work, it charged me before my 7 day trail ended and there is no support for the product.
Pointless
This app is not a reader. It’s just an interface for Calibre Content Server. You still save the ebook manually to your iPad files and then have to open them manually with an actual ebook reader. You’re better off running calibre-web and viewing it in the browser, at least then you can just click and read.

Add a download all button please for content server, it's on the android version. Otherwise, pretty good

Why am I forced to watch ads even though I paid for the app. Constantly crashes

I was looking for a Calibre Companion app and tried this. Apparently (and unintentionally) I “bought” a 1 year subscription at a cost of $14.99. I had the app for about 5 minutes and cancelled. But I was denied a refund, according to Apple, due to this vendor’s “policy”. I did not like the app, but the refusal to refund my 5 minutes of use, is egregious. In checking them out, I also discovered that their website is for sale. So it’s obvious that they are failing and keeping every penny they gather, honestly or not. Apple should not be dealing with this type of vendor.

Premium member now I get ADDS
I pay an annual fee. Today April 19, 2023, bloody ads start popping up all over the app. This app is clunky but it works. So much for the premium features. Borden, the annoyed!
