Can’t do bespoke workout

If you want to follow a handful of pre set exercises, great. Even that it’s inaccurate in tracking and have to constantly correct the recording. Also the feedback is very unclear. Bunch of charts and numbers but no way to interpret. I returned the device and they were a challenge to work through that. Still haven’t credited my card so I put it into dispute. I think it’s a startup with like 6 people so makes sense, just beware what you are getting into. I like what they are tackling and this will work at some point.

Don’t sleep on this device - total game changer in FitTech

There’s not a single product akin to Calibrex. There have been kickstarters that failed. Calibrex stands in a class of its own it’s brand new yet the owners and founders remain completely dedicated and reachable for feedback, troubleshooting and updates. Which btw there are constant new features.

Personally, Calibrex has been the medium
That has enabled me to be consistent in my exercise routine for the first time in my life and I’m 40. Prior to Calibrex it was random guessing and failure. Now I use it 3-5x a week with progressive overload tailored to me. Love this device.

Great product, and only getting better!

The Calibrex app has improved substantially as to where it was in late 2025. I know firsthand, as I submitted literally dozens of enhancement requests to this U.S.-based small startup. The owners reached out to talk on multiple occasions and most importantly, addressed many of the earlier software issues.
The customer service is second to none and the accuracy of repetition counting is a 9 out of 10 (I expect it to improve with future updates). Philip and Nick sent me a replacement unit when mine had connectivity issues, and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Shipping was fast and free.
This is one of the few apps that when updated in the App Store, I will open it to see the new enhancements page and whatever issues were addressed. Yes, the updates have been that good.

I want to like it

I was a pre-order - I love the idea but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The device itself seems well made and it does learn but it missed reps on all but the last set of my workout.
The bigger issue is that unless you catch the error immediately, you can't go back and fix either the rep count or the weight. That alone makes me very skeptical about using the app again.
Beyond that, there are a variety of v1 polish issues - maybe the biggest is the incredibly painful exercise reorder issue.
All of this can be fixed - we'll see if they do.

Since you've been gone, we have fixed and updated all that you mentioned: ✔️ Rep detection greatly improved ✔️ Global log management, update reps and weight of any set at any time ✔️ Exercises can be swapped and reordered before or during your sessions -> Adding videos for each exercise Come on back when you're ready to automate your workouts 💪 Quick reminder that as a Founding Member you have direct access to the founders, and access to the feature requests page where you can vote for new features and upvote existing posts from other Calibrex members. We add new features based on the board on a weekly basis.

App gets to end and doesn’t ask for email but won’t let you finish setting up your device without email.

So COOL!!!

I got a calibrex to take over my training and so far I love it! The audio guidance through the workout is a game changer, I just do what it says in my headphones and get a good workout every time. Now that I have the hang of it, I don’t see how I can go back to working out without it. One more thing: I found a feature was missing, asked the team in the app chat, and the built it for me THE SAME DAY!!!

Love the new free train mode

I’ve been training with a calibrex on and off for about 6 months now, but this free train mode has changed the game. Great new feature. Keep it up!

Worst app ever

App is awful, glitches a lot, it would not save workouts, will delete exercises, just bad. It’s like it was created for IOs 2.
The more I try to use this app the more I get frustrated. This is total garbage
