App is abandoned
Whatever you do, do not purchase a subscription for any of the pocketbrain books made by this developer. He’s still pulling down subscriptions and hadn’t updated or changed a single thing on any of the apps in over 4 years. Stay away! The information on the apps are extremely out of date.

First and foremost, the customer service alone is worth the buy. Twice I’ve put in a request for a change to have a response within the hour, and a change within the day. The app is very helpful and handy, and has the information I need at my fingertips. Plus, it’s community run, so changes can stay up to date with your department.

Great app for first responders

Quickly find information
Great app. Finding information quickly is my favorite part of this app. You don’t always have time to search for an answer on the side of the road.

Love the ease of use, the app works well! The app is free and you get limited information in its form, but with a small fee for yearly subscription you open up the rest of the app and you get yearly updates with all the new info for that year which is fantastic!

I really enjoy this app. The information that I need at my fingertips. I recently had an issue with the app, and Jason promptly returned my email. Jason also called me, and we were able to fix the problem. Now that’s what I call outstanding customer service!
Not satisfied
This app don’t have half as much information as the hard copy. App freezes and does not function properly when your flipping through pages.
Connection issues, VCs incorrect
This app's search function for PC and VC is easy to use and it's definitely beneficial for field officers.
However, I found a few VC under the commonly use VC section to be incorrect and emailed the app host, but no updates/corrections. This makes me question the app every time I want to use a code and I would double check with another app just to make sure, which defeats the purpose for convenience.

Excellent, but UI needs work
I used to carry a physical copy in my bag at all times, but over time they would rip and wear out. A digital copy is a great solution! The user interface is a little choppy and sometimes things don’t load until you re-start the app. Drug dosages won’t load at all for me. This app has great potential to be the go-to source for cops. I’d like to see elements added to offenses within the quick search vs. searching the penal code itself. Other than that it’s great, and I’m sure will improve over time.
