Can’t even move past the text verification. How effective can it be if it fails at such a simple level?
Blocks contacts
We all want to be protected from the calls we don’t want but when you choose to allow contacts, it shouldn’t block those calls. My own children couldn’t call me until I added them manually. I also am never notified anyone is calling. It just bypasses me and blocks EVERYTHING. I have repeatedly tried to change the settings but they all are where they should be. If I never wanted to ever receive ANY calls, that would be fine but I’d like to know when ppl are calling so I can decide to accept or decline a call.

Wish it worked
Installed app on my us cellular iphone 15. Go through setup process and get to point it is supposed to send you a code and it never sends it. Tried multiple times and on different days with no code sent. Very disappointing
All but useless
Great, it notifies you that there’s a spam/spoof call, but it does do squat with it. Heck, I KNOW it’s a spam call! What ai need the app to do is straight up block it! Worthless.

I was receiving 10-15 spam calls everyday- so I contacted US Cellular and they said I qualified not only for the basic plan, but the premium plan for FREE!! So I downloaded it and set my phone and wow- now I get 15-25 spam calls everyday and my co-worker's calls got blocked! Gotta love it. What a P.O.S.

I still get spam calls… all the time…. And the app blocks my legit calls from people saved in my contacts…

App worked for a few days and my amount of spam is back to the same amount. Doesn't block suspected spam.

I like using the Call Guardian but I keep getting messages asking me to update because the spam numbers may be outdated, and when I go to do so there’s no update to do.

Pointless
This wasteful app stops nothing
Well, that didn’t work.
I have been a client of US Cellular for about a year. In that time my spam calls have increased to the frequency of about 2 a day. Not horrible, yet still annoying. This last week they increased to about 1 every 2 hours, at all hours of the day and night. This is when I decided to download this app. Within an hour of downloading the call frequency went up to approx one every 15 minutes. This app does nothing, and I’m 100% sure they put my number out there so their app would seem useful. Today US Cellular lost a customer.

I agree with the above review. Exactly what happens to my I- phone every day for six months, and I pay call Guardian to block them. They block very few. My husband has same I-phone I have and does not get any. Does anyone have suggestions on how to stop receiving these. Thanks
They change number over & over again
If you refuse call or don’t answer they just change their number every time & keep calling over & over. It’s a never ending process!!! They can put in what ever number & town they want to, even your number or town or a town or area code you are familiar with so you will think it is someone you know! Don’t fall for it. Unless you know who it is, let it go to voice mail!! This is how scams begin!! Don’t fall for it!!

Doesn’t work
I was getting 20-30 spam calls EVERY day Monday - Saturday. US Cellular recommended this app. After several months of having the app I am getting 20-30 spam calls every day Monday- Saturday. In the months I’ve had this I have gotten 3-4 notifications that it actually blocked calls. Not worth having. Don’t waste your energy time.

This App Needs Fixing 100%
I’ve been using this app for about 2 years and NOTHING & I mean NOTHING. Shows for how the app works. None of the three filters selected works, i get about 20 spam calls a day and I’ll report/block all the time and then that’ll only keep the same number from contacting me. It should automatically be blocking spam numbers, why should I take the time from my precious day to do the apps job?! -0/10 recommend. If I could give this app a 0 star I promise I would.

Useless- Can’t even set it up
The app requires a code that is texted and needs to be entered to verify the phone number. However when
entering the code there is nowhere to hit send and no return key on the keyboard, so the app is stuck and I can’t even set it up.

Worthless
I have been using this app for over a year. At first it was ok, but then the last 5 months the scam and spam calls have gone up to 10+ daily. All the calls that spoof the caller id are missed by this app. It is not worth paying for the service. Yep thumbs down!

I don’t believe the app has done a single thing since I installed it.
SPAM PROMOTER NOT BLOCKER
I would recommend this app to no one! Went from hardly any spam calls to dozens a day when I activated this service. Once I uninstalled it my spam calls dropped in number but it’s still a dozen a day or so. The other lines on my plan get very few if any spam calls. What a waste of time and energy trying to use this app. It’s the same three or four spammers calling every time. I can tell because I send the spam calls to voicemail and can see it’s the same messages being left over and over again. I’m disappointed enough that I am strongly considering switching carriers after 20 plus years with US Cellular. If Guardian and US Cellular sold my number then at least give me a kickback to pay for my time in dealing with all this spam. Blocking numbers through the app is also clunky and very inefficient.

This app is trash
I was hoping this app would stop some of the 15-20+ spam calls I'm getting a day. Unfortunately, it did not stop a single one and it doesn't even let you manually add numbers to the blocked list. My advice is DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS TRASH. This app literally does nothing.
