Was full version, now abandoned it costs $10 lifetime subscription
I thought I bought this app years ago. It was a full version that allowed you to write and copy anything over by tracing. But today I open it and everything requires a $10 payment even with the description of the app currently saying everything is free. So they went through the trouble of making a charge page but did not bother to update the app’s description. I’m almost certain I bought this app a long time ago and they are now charging again. Restoring does not do anything.

The bad app
This app was so bad that my child couldn’t even wright this and she’s 11 the didn’t even tell her how to wright the letter a like who makes a app like this?and then it didn’t even show her how to unlock the things the should band this it’s supposed to help not do nothing.

States there are basic fonts included- but whenever you try to open one of those fonts, the app, just ask you to pay to unlock. You can’t even try the app first without paying to see if it’s worthwhile for you. Worthless.
Lots of great font options but not doable on iPhone
You have a very well designed app with tons of options to learn about. Excellent.
I must not have read the fine print. On my iPhone, it doesn’t support a pen, so my finger traces are too large for the small font size.
Each of the few times I tried tracing the words, in crossing the first letter in the first ears, a T, my screen is swiped right and I get sent out if the practice page.
Lille you need to have a greater margin away from the iPhone screen do this doesn’t happen. I have not been able to get past the first word.
And I may not have read this correctly, but I don’t see how I can use and draw finger since he words are so small on my screen.
Though I immediately asked for a life Membership, I will see if I can find another that is iPhone 12 screen doable. I use a PC and an iPad, but not with my iPhone apps.
Again, you have beautiful app. Well thought out. I would like to improve my onesie one day to write that way.
Oh, one other thing. Have a few tutorials on how to best practice, tine durations etc.
I will then write out my message, take a picture and send it instead of texting it by thumb.
I kindly suggest you not use commas after numbering your entries. Do away with the commas after a number, that is not as we would expect it. Use a period or non at all.

I have to pay for it and I thought you don’t have to
Absolutely Awesome
I am training to be a level 9 HSK Chinese Certified Translator. This app lets me import my favorite Chinese text and format it so i can practice writing my Chinese with text above so I can see the text to write below. It is an awesome app. Many fonts to choose from. Easy to use. Though I am highly technical experienced and a power user. I found this app to be very useful for me.

You cannot test a single feature of this app before committing to a $10 fee. If I can’t try it, I can’t buy it.

This is not a free app… Unless you pay $10 you can’t do anything but stare at it and any time you click anything it tells you to pay them. I’m an artist and do a lot of Japanese and Chinese calligraphy and was really hoping this would be able to help…. But artists can’t afford a $10 app when there’s no guarantee it’ll do what I hope/ what it says it’ll do.

Unable to rate since you can't try it without paying
It’s free to download but you have to purchase a subscription before you can even try anything. I am not paying for something before being able to try it.

As a kid asking for my mom to..
As life as a kid my mom will never do buying subscriptions because the font I wanted wasn’t on Freenotes so I downloaded Calligraphy Master but Pacifico the font I wanted wasn’t on Freenotes and it was Calligraphy Master but it wasn’t free and I was furious!
Not intuitive
Very difficult to use. Only sometimes will the app save a draft if you accidentally hit the back button, “trace the alphabet” just gives you the text with weird spacing, when you change the size of the font, the grid does not adjust, the calligraphy pen doesn’t allow for the proper angle for the script fonts. Turning off the setting for drawing with your finger doesn’t change anything, tapping the screen with your finger will still leave marks. There’s no tutorial to explain any of this. I also don’t like that two entire categories of text are then Bible and can’t be deleted. Two stars for at least giving night mode. Not worth $10 by any stretch of the imagination.
Edit: Feedback function in app also does not work, just gives me an error message in Mandarin and night mode only applies to the menus, not the actual calligraphy practice. One star, give me back my $10

Amazing for its price
I have it for just a couple of days but it helps a great deal to practice my handwriting, either on the phone or iPad or even as print-out that I can retrace again.
And did I say that you can import/paste text that is interesting for you, in case you're not that found of historical & biblical texts it comes by default.
Anyway. I find this app really useful.

Chancery font missing
It would be a great app if it had Chancery
Is anything free?
Every font you select says you have to unlock it. There should be a group of select fonts that you can use without paying, or “trying”. Removing the App now.
