About
Calm is a quiet place to keep the things you want to come back to.
Save a link. Save a photo. That's the whole app. There's no feed, no algorithm, and nothing that notifies you to come back. Just your own collection, in the order you found it.
FINDING THINGS AGAIN
Everything is grouped by the day you saved it, so your library reads like a record of what you were paying attention to, and when.
Search looks inside your saves rather than only at their titles. Photos are read on your device, so searching for "waterfall" finds the picture of a waterfall even if you never typed the word. Links are searchable by their title, site and description.
Your saves also turn up in Spotlight, so you can find them without opening the app.
ON YOUR DEVICE
Calm has no account and no sign-in. Your library lives on your iPhone.
Where Apple Intelligence is available, photos are described in plain language entirely on the device. Nothing is uploaded to be analysed and nothing is sent anywhere to be processed, because there is nowhere to send it.
If you use iCloud, your library is backed up to your own private iCloud storage and kept in step between your Mac and your iPhone. Save something on one and it appears on the other. That is between you and Apple.
MAC AND IPHONE
Calm is one app for both, with the same library on each.
