My son loves it!
My six years old son has been really enjoying Calm Down Stories. We have listened to them while doing a craft, or when he is getting over a frustrating moment. He loves the banter between Ale and her son. He loves the stories based on reality, such as about mini dog— and also likes the silly stories such, as the one about penguins in the hair.
A couple of interesting things have developed from listening: my son asked me to record our own Calm Down Story, which we did together about how we got our dog.
Also, he now sometimes creates his own stories about bugs and worms that he encountered during the day.
I look forward to listening to more Calm Down Stories with him and having the stories help my son develop his creativity!

Unique stories and they have a purpose
I thought that these stories will be another professionally recorded storytelling app but they are not.
At first I was wondering if the live recordings will captivate my kid’s attention because for my spoiled ear they didn’t sound as what I’ve heard before and thought what the storytelling app should be.
It did the MAGIC.
Kids DON’T CARE about the quality of the sound.
What they care about is that they feel like they are a part of the conversation with the author and her son. It’s SO COOL!!!
Kids DO CALM DOWN with that app!!!
The stories are unique, but most IMPORTANTLY they WORK!!! THEY CALM MY KID DOWN AND SHE STOPS CRYING!!!
Try it but seriously make sure you invite your kid to have the experience together first like if you were mischievously overhearing somebody’s cool story. My kid loved it.

Calm down for real!
Listening to the stories has been a game changer for bed time. I play the stories for my 7 year old son and it’s the one thing that helps him get into the mindset that it’s time to go to sleep and helps him stay in bed. He used to be so focused on the fear that he was alone in the room and it was such a battle to get him to sleep. Now he focuses on the fun and creative stories with the cool lady voice. Also when we travel, the app is on my phone and it’s easy to continue the bed routine. I recommend this for your children and even adults 😜.

Great app
I’ve tried many apps with a similar purpose but this is by far the best . Easy to use has everything you might need for kids , beautiful graphics and calms my nieces and nephews down, they love the songs!
A sensory journey!
These stories take kids and parents on a journey. My kids are completely hypnotized by them and beg for more, whereas their attention span fizzles when listening to regular audiobooks! I like how these stories stimulate my kids’ imagination. And I LOVE that they are not professional studio-recorded, but instead, they are authentic mother-and-son conversations. No other stories app does that! I hope you enjoy this unique experience as much as my kids and I do!
