Meh
Can not manually add meals without taking a picture of it!
Almost there
This app seems to be mimicking the UX of Cal ai, a highly popular and heavily advertised app. I’d say CaloriesAI is doing quite well except that burned calories is not yet supported (it is in the ui, but not functional as it does not connect to Apple Health yet). If this was supported, i would switch as the performance is very similar. They are probably using the same LLM behind the scenes. Cal AI has a more

Not accurate enough
The camera issue could be fixed but I try to fix the result, it doesn’t work at all. And I measure it before I take a picture, not really accurate. I will try for 3 months, if anything imma just cancel
Shows promise, but unusuable
Camera issues abound, and restarting the app 2-3 times isn’t ok just to snap a picture. Then when the picture is snapped and I try to fix the estimated result, say 500 grams of cherries to 70 grams, it does not proportionally reduce the calories or nutrition data. Since I can’t manually override or enter data beyond that, the app is rendered useless.

Love it!
It calculated my white wine - I didn’t expect that and was seriously impressed. Clean design and easy to use. Love it!
Easy to use and functional
I really like the simplicity of this app and the functionality of it. It’s very intuitive and easy to use. Very quick in recognizing the food. I’m glad I got it.
Amazing - blew me away
Incredible results. Works very well with food but even more impressed at the pub when it worked out that I was drinking cider and gave me the calorie count. Also identified the two other drinks I scanned at the same time.
