What's New in CalorieSnap™

1.4.2

September 4, 2026

Meal scanning no longer gets stuck after you snap a photo. The sheet that asks whether CalorieSnap may analyze the photo could open behind the camera, so the scan waited for an answer you could not see. It now appears above the camera every time, and you can tap Analyze this photo or Not now before anything leaves your phone. If the camera or that sheet still fails to respond, the app now says so instead of spinning, and you can retry the snap or log the meal manually. Also in this update: reliability fixes to the AI permission prompt.
