Life changing
So thankful for all the work pastor Joe has put in on this app. The verse by verse is incredible for growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.
Love this church
Pastor Joe is a top notch teacher who gives life to the Bible and it’s stories. Love the Verse by Verse section.
Crashes on Apple TV.
Fast-forward does not work on Apple TV and also almost always halfway through the video It will crash forcing you to start over.
Game changer
This app is part of my daily life and I’m so appreciative of its existence that I hate to complain, but as of late the video playback feature doesn’t function properly. You aren’t able to pause playback on the iphone version and I love seeing Pastor Joe as opposed to just hearing his voice for my daily verse by verse sessions but if you have to step away you aren’t able hold your point of progress. Also while I write this the video playback doesn’t work at all on iPad. The layout and ease of use is perfect for this app just those 2 things that I’ve had issue with.

I can’t express enough how sad I was when you guys took away the verse by verse! I have grown so much in my faith by studying and listening to the verse by verse! It’s the only one that’s not boring!! Please put it back… i am very grateful to you guys and much blessing to joe focht. I have come to learn so much from him and I want to keep learning! I only got to 2 Samuel and I want to finish and keep hearing more!! I drive for work sometimes 4hrs and I put this on and it helps me avoid music that’s negative. I resort to this for insight on what god might want me to do when it’s tough. When I’m going through things I put this on and allow myself to soak up the word of god! I refer it to my friends who were like me and wanted a way to learn the Bible from a good educated speaker! I really need you guys to put it back for me. Or send me the the audios. This has been such a learning experience and I’ve experienced so much growth in my faith. Just put it back man.. 😕 so sad :(

True & Genuine Teaching
Even though we live on the other side of the planet we listen to Ps Joe almost daily. I just love his Fathers heart and his expounding the word.

Great Outreach of Gospel!!
I do not live in Philly area anymore, yet, this is one of my “go to” places to continue to truly learn the WORD. Anyone within a 120 mile radius needs to attend this church and become involved! God WILL use you dramatically and fulfill you in ways in unimaginable!

Solid Bible teaching taught in a way that is simple to understand!
I was raised as a kid in a Baptist church that was very “rigid”in the way they had worship on Sunday. It was nothing more then a religious gathering to me and I didn’t understand or care what the Pastor was saying. I was invited by a friend to Calvary chapel Philadelphia in 1989 when I was 18. I was amazed at how much different it was compared to what I “thought” church was. I was attracted to how Pastor Joe communicated the word of God and then suddenly Jesus became real to me through this church. I found a relationship with God instead of just a religious gathering of people. Thank you Pastor Joe and thank you Jesus for being real in my life!

Not working
Ever since the most recent iOS update, I can no longer listen to any downloaded messages. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app with no success. Please fix.
Reading your bible
Who would’ve ever thought reading your bible would be the greatest sermons? Well pastor Joe did. He loves the Bible and Christ.
Sunday service
Every time we visit family we go to CCPhilly for our service on Sunday and hear God’s Word by Joe Fosch. It’s a good teaching and we are in peace with the Lord on our drive home.
I would recommend this Calvary Church. You will not be disappointed.

A great man and teacher
I have been working on my personal relationship with Jesus for several years now at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. I just cannot say enough about Pastor Joe and his in depth, scholarly and simplistic approach to teaching the Word of God. Also, how his message went right to my heart. There are days where I know I was spoken to by Almighty God himself. I’m blessed to have found such great leadership and praise. The best worship team ever. Thank you my friend in Christ Jesus.

I used to listen to pastor Joe and Chuck Smith over the radio as a young adult and down through the years til later in mid years.
My brother and sister-in-law started going to Calvary Chaple and brought me.
To my supprise, and shock. A familiar voice , I heard. It was pastor Joe. I now go with my friend to Calvary Chaple of Philadelphia. Pastor Joe is now my pastor.
Pastor Joe preaches directly from the scriptures in the Bible and is a true brother in Christ. He is inspired by God, and gifted through the Holy Spirit in his preaching of God’s Word.
I love my church family and I am blessed everytime I attend there for meetings.
I Thank God for Every one of my church family.

Pastor Joe – a faithful friend!
I’ve listened to Pastor Joe since the mid-1980s when I found Pastor Chuck Smith on the radio. Calvary chapel’s system of teaching through the entire word of God is the only way to connect all the dots of life. Pastor Joe is real (no flamboyant showmanship) and his teachings are effective for application in your life. I’ve never met Pastor Joe or even been to his church, however I consider him my pastor/mentor.
