Common issue with food apps

A common issue with food scanner apps is you don’t know where the info for items is being sourced. In some cases it could be user errors - where people don’t correctly copy from label to app but it’s not very clear where the data is being sourced from for this app. When I scanned milk it came up 0 for everything - protein, fat and carbs. There’s no edit button - only the ability to adjust the serving amount. The serving size is also not indicated/clear. The AI meal assistant and fridge scanner are pretty cool and I look forward to trying those out after the next grocery run. I’m unable to change measurements to imperial. Weight is fine but height defaults to the lowest value and when you quit and relaunch the app it reverts to metric.

Fantastic!

Super easy to use and helps keep me on track with my goals.

Response from developer

Game changer for food tracking

I've tried a bunch of calorie counter apps, and honestly, My Plate is the easiest one I've used. Just snap a pic and the AI takes care of it no more typing everything in manually. The scanner and barcode reader are super quick and usually spot on, which makes tracking way less of a chore.

I also like how clean and simple the app looks it doesn’t feel cluttered. The macro breakdowns (protein, carbs, fats) for each meal are really useful, and being able to see workouts and steps next to my meals gives me the full picture of my day.

Overall, it just makes tracking food so much less annoying. Definitely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Horrible food search

The AI part is pretty cool but certain things can’t be scanned and when you search to log you can’t adjust the 100 g serving size. Waste of money until they fix this

Response from developer

UPDATE: We just released [1.1.2] a quick update that fixes the scanning issues and lets you adjust serving sizes — so your experience should already be smoother. 🎉 This was a small step to improve things right away, but we’ve got some bigger updates on the way that we’re really excited to share soon. 🚀 If you have more ideas, we’d love to hear them at support@k-ube.com. ---------- Hi Bitomom, we’re happy to hear you’re enjoying the AI! 😊 We totally get your frustration with the scanning and the fixed 100 g serving size. Good news — we’re already working on both for our next update. If you’ve got any other ideas that could make the app better for you, we’d love to hear them! support@k-ube.com
