Now in 繁體中文 and 简体中文 — plus sub-categories, CSV import, and a backup that comes back by itself. • 繁體中文 and 简体中文: Camber, its widgets and its notifications now come in Traditional Chinese (worded for Hong Kong) and Simplified Chinese. Camber follows your iPhone's language, or choose one in Settings › Display › Language; the switch is instant and your entries stay as they are. CSV import reads Chinese column names, and Big5 and GB18030 files. • Sub-categories: Dining out, Transit, Shopping, Health, Home, Bills and Pets now split further — Lunch, Gas, Clothing, Pharmacy, Utilities, Vet and more. One tap deeper, and never required. Add 3 of your own for free, and more with Camber Plus (up to 8 in a category). Each category's page shows its spending by sub-category. • Fourteen clearer categories: Gifts now sits under Shopping, and Personal care under Health as Self-care. If you used them, your entries, repeating entries and budgets move there by themselves the first time this version opens. Nothing is deleted: a copy of your data from before the move is kept on your iPhone, and Settings › Categories can undo it for 90 days. • Your likeliest categories first: on the Add screen, the first few categories follow what you usually log at this time of day, on a weekday or at the weekend. The rest keep one steady order, the same as in Settings › Categories. • Faster logging: + opens straight onto the keypad. The names you've used are ready before you type and sit in the keyboard's bar while you type. Today, Repeat and your payment method share one row, Repeat offers itself when an entry looks like a bill, and Save stays in view. • Tap or drag across the Home chart to see any day: its total, what it went on, and that day's entries. • Encrypted iCloud backup: off until you turn it on. Camber encrypts a copy on your iPhone before it's saved to your own iCloud, with a key kept in your end-to-end encrypted iCloud Keychain. Neither Apple nor Camber can open it. Free on every plan. • Your data comes back by itself: on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account, Camber brings your backup back when it opens. No iCloud Keychain there yet? Your Recovery Key opens it. • Mistakes can be undone: Camber keeps the latest backup, the end of an earlier day and week, and for 30 days the state before a big deletion or your last replace. • Receipt photos in your own backups, on every plan: the photos you have go into your iCloud backup and, unless you switch them off, your backup files, encrypted like everything else. Attaching new ones is part of Camber Plus. • Import a CSV file: bring your history from another app or a spreadsheet. Camber shows everything before anything changes, skips entries it already has, and can take the whole import back out for 30 days. Free, and imported entries don't count toward the free plan's 15 a week. • Backup files are now locked with a password you choose. Files from 1.0 still import. • Your entries are safe across updates: a file that won't open is set aside and a kept copy brought back — never an empty start. • Referral months stay yours: your code and earned Plus months are kept in your iCloud Keychain, so they come back after a reinstall, and on a new iPhone with iCloud Keychain on. • Sample data only when you ask: a new download starts empty, and sample rows you never changed can be removed, and put back for 90 days. • Two quick screens to get started. The reminder and backup offers now wait until after your first entries. • Hide amounts now hides every amount, and with it on, an eye beside the bell on every tab shows or hides them. • A new bottom bar that looks and sits like iOS 26's own, with + in its own round button beside the tabs. • Also: the bell is on every tab, Settings shows Camber Plus in your local price, and Insights no longer shows "On pace for".
