Outstanding app, exceptional support
I’ve relied on OBS Camera for a long time. A recent update caused a serious decoding issue, and after I sent the developer my OBS log, he identified the problem and pushed a working fix within hours. The app is excellent, but that level of responsiveness is what really earned five stars.
Since update code glitches every 2 seconds
Since updating the video feed glitches every 2 seconds. I’ve paid for this and now it is unusable!
Brought my old iPhones back to life with multi cam
Three angles for the cost of one app. I'm running an iPhone 17 as my main, an old 15 I never traded in as a side angle, and a hand-me-down 13 mounted overhead. All three appear as separate sources in OBS and switching between them is just scene switching.
USB keeps them low-latency enough to stay in sync with each other and with my audio interface, which is the part I assumed would break and didn't. Per-device lens selection means I can go ultra-wide for the room and standard for the face shot, and per-device white balance means they actually match instead of one angle looking orange.
If you've got dead iPhones sitting in a drawer, stop shopping for cameras and buy this instead!!

Game changer
Amazing app and obs plug in. Allows me to use my iPhone as a camera source in obs which is much higher quality than any webcam I own.
dont buy unless you have $70
the watermark bounces around and unless you want to pay $70 to remove it permanently, its not even worth the download.

YO I GOT THIS FOR FREE, THIS IS ANTI-CONSUMER; unethical; and a complete disregard for the necessity of human tools. You’re paying the upper echelon overlords to have the code monkies unlock your devices local LAN streaming functionality and add it to an OBS import API. How much is that worth to people nowadays?

Why is this $70?! Worth it!
This software is amazing. And in spite of a high price tag it’s helping me avoid subscriptions for different software that is way crazier. So far in my testing it works perfectly with the source record filter in OBS as well. For recording two iPhones this is essential and is helping me avoid purchasing a DSLR. Thank you for making this

Audio doesn’t work
It’s been 3+ years and there have not been updates. The mic on the iPhone cannot be used in OBS 32. I spent $10+ to find this out. I regret it. Everyone look for another solution before the rest of the app breaks. This is criminal to still take money us.

That watermark has to be a joke. If you want to make your app paid then fine, but I have a problem with the way you turned your app into a massive backhand to every user who can’t pay that ridiculous price.

This app is outrageously overpriced. You can use the free feature without a watermark and the bloat by simply using vdo.ninja in a browser.
Also can spend $20 on Claude and have it build a better app if you need a wired connection. Overpriced and outdated.

Brilliant app must say but come one dude having that moving massive water mark over the screen, if your going to offer a ‘free’ version at least be be far have it scrolling across the top in a nice lower font or something, this app is useless unless you pay! Let us make an account and have 7 days to use it like ALL OTHRT APPS to see if it’s right for us

4k Videos mit 60fps mit dem iPhone 17? Yes!
Ich nutze diese App schon eine ganze Weile, und nachdem ich mein iPhone 17 bekommen habe, musste ich einen kleinen Test mit OBS machen. Man muss ein wenig mit den Einstellungen in OBS, aber auch in der OBS Camera App spielen, um am Ende dann saubere 4k mit 60fps zu bekommen. Wow! Mit meiner Canon R50 schaffe ich mit Mühe 24fps, aber so richtig dolle ist das leider nicht. Mit dem 17er sind das sehr gute 4k60 Videos, die man auf diese Art bekommen kann. Daumen hoch, und ich wünschte mir, dass die App mal wieder ein Update bekommt, damit sie auch zukünftig noch sauber funktionieren kann. 5 Sterne!

Half the time it doesn’t connect from the phone to OBS Studio on the pc and I have followed all the steps. It’s temperamental. I’ve reached out to their email for help twice and they never reply. Don’t think I’ll be renewing my subscription.

With a usb hub I can use a webcam with my ipad in Facetime, it switches to it automatically, but this app does not detect or make same webcam selectable as a camera input. I do like it’s other options for selecting between the 3 built in cameras of the ipad.
