Great camera app
A far better alternative to the default camera on the iPhone. Easy to use with many options for taking better photos. Or enhancing/editing them. Should be a must for anyone wanting to take great photos using their iPhone.
Forced to take out a trial subscription
When you offer in-app purchases you should have to take a free trial just to use it- very misleading

Since updating to version 24.6, the sitters won't release intermittently. Got to close app the reopen app. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. Really unpredictable.
8/24/26: when opening app, it hasn’t locked up (spinning wheel) for a little while now. If that issue was resolved by a recent update, thank you. If not, time will tell.

Forced 3 day trial
Seriously forcing a 3 trial that jumps to 70 dollar sub is ridiculous just to see the app.

Honestly I will use no other Photo app on my iPhone!
No other app be needed!

They ripped me off
Used to be Camera2. I had the full suite still and video with all tools.
The original partner split up. The other guy is still here, a different name, I have to buy everything over again — if it is even the same!

They responded. They lied. No option for subscription. Plus, as Camera+2, I already paid for everything outright, no subscription.

Useless
I have used and bought the subscription in the past. Went to use it and re-up, but now not only is it super expensive, it requires you to sign up for that super expensive plan for a full year. You can't do anything until you do and you can't choose any other plan.
Find a different app that treats its users well. This one isn't worth it.

Apple Watch needs upgrades to be useful
Bare minimum Apple Watch app that offers none of the following that would make it highly useful:
No view finder on watch screen
No haptic or audio feedback on watch countdown once initiated
At least make the phone flash blink or watch audio beep to let you know the countdown is almost done and when not to blink
You are forced your watch screen which leads to rushing your arm down and getting in the correct pose in just a moment

Painful to use (WiFi, slow opening, etc.)

Internet shouldn’t be required
This app is useless inside National Parks. No Internet means I can’t use it to control things like shutter speed for long exposure shots of waterfalls. Used to be great…
Won’t work without Internet
I paid for this app several years ago but it stopped working unless you have Internet Access. I guess they can’t imagine ever wanting to use your camera away from internet access. I sent several emails but they never bothered to respond.
App is the worst
Nothing saves I’ll make manual adjustments but if i minimize the app and go right back the settings reset back to default, fix it!!!

the only camera app that requires an internet connection
now the app forgets all your current cam settings when switching to lightbox and back to camera. it’s like every update introduces more bugs than the last.
also when switching between lightbox and camera it sometimes just shows a black screen and you have to force quit and restart.

Don’t use it if you’re in china because you will be stuck on the loading screen.
Terrible
The screen is almost always black, so it’s impossible to use it to take photos.
