A Good Start
On the surface, this app does everything It promises to do. It displays all of your gear visually and helps keep everything organized. I like the functionality that allows for you to build out a packing list for an upcoming shoot. There are a few features that would be nice to have in future updates.
- It would be nice to be able to duplicate an item instead of having other re-input everything manually. This would be useful for things like batteries where most photographers have more than one for their respective cameras.
- Being able to auto populate images of your equipment would be great. As it stands, in order to add images for your equipment, you need to manually photograph everything.
- Being able to search for equipment from a website would be great. Especially if the information about the piece of gear gets auto generated (weight, price, filter size, etc)
- Having access to your gear from the web or at least a desktop application would be a great addition.
- Being able to view your equipment in different options would be great. Right now all you can see is “list view”
