Sorry to hear about your trouble. We have numerous new members per day. No other users reported login issues. Please note you can sign up from any platform. For example, you can sign up from www.cameraftp.com website, then log in to this viewer app. I believe you did not enter your password correctly, or you entered a wrong password. If you forgot your password, you can reset it online easily. CameraFTP is a DriveHQ.com division, founded in 2003. If you have any questions, please feel free to call/email us. Sorry you misunderstood the app's features: - First, it is a CameraFTP Viewer app. It can view cameras that upload footage to CameraFTP (i.e. it is a viewer app for CameraFTP customers). - Second, it is mainly designed for security and monitoring. Most users will use it to view their own cameras. It supports viewing local-recording or a cloud-recording cameras. - Third, if you are a CameraFTP customer, then it is extremely easy to use this app. You just need to install it and log in to it. - Fourth, if you need to view public cameras, you can use the CameraFTP Viewer app, or CameraFTP.com website. You can only view cameras published on our platform. The viewer app is available on iOS, Android, Windows, and you can also use any web browser without installing an app. The viewer supports live viewing and playback. If you use our Mobile Security Camera app, or CameraFTP VSS software (use PC as CCTV DVR system), then it supports 2-way live video and audio viewing/calling. It is a unique feature, not available in any IP security cameras. You can use it as a pet or baby monitor.

Sorry for the problem and our slow response here. Please contact CameraFTP support via email or phone. Our phone support is available during normal business hours. Our email support is available nearly 24x7. The problem should have been resolved long time ago. In addition, there are multiple ways to access your recorded footage. You can log on to www.cameraftp.com, then go to My Cameras page to view your camera; you can use our mobile viewer apps for iOS and Android; you can also download all recorded footage from the cloud to your local/cloud account. You can then view them offline.

Yes, CameraFTP's cloud recording/monitoring service is indeed easier than other cloud surveillance services. You never need to configure your Firewall (open port; port forwarding, Static IP or DDN service, etc.); your camera does not need to be accessible from the cloud. So it is easier and more secure. If you want to use a Webcam as an IP camera, you can install CameraFTP VSS software. CameraFTP VSS can use a PC as a CCTV DVR system.

Recordings are kept for 7 days, and I can view any captured video recorded over the last 7 days.
You can subscribe to upload snapshots or video when movement is detected - but don’t make the mistake I initially made of subscribing to upload snapshots but setting up the camera to upload video! Do this and you can download the video from the CameraFTP’s web site but this app will not work!

You reported an issue about CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera app, not this CameraFTP Viewer app. The early version of CameraFTP Mobile Security Camera app only supported image recording. We have supported video recording for many years now. CameraFTP Viewer app can play both image or video-recording cameras. CameraFTP is a leading Cloud Recording and Home/Business Monitoring service provider. You can use IP cameras, DVRs, Webcams or Mobile devices. It was fixed many years ago. (Sorry for the problem. Please email CameraFTP support directly for technical issues.) CameraFTP viewer app is available on all platforms. You can use our web browser based viewer. Just log on to www.cameraftp.com, then go to My Cameras page. You can also download the image or video files to your local computer and play them locally.

We have improved the app a lot. Please try the latest version. It supports fast play mode, and the motion alerts should work fine. To reduce the download/wait time, please configure your IP cameras to upload smaller video files (e.g. limit each video clip file to less than 10MB, or even 3MB if possible). You can also log on to www.cameraftp.com and use our browser based viewer. It offers more advanced viewing features, e.g. you can increase/decrease the play speed by a factor of up to 16 times. Lastly, you can download the recorded image/video files to your local computer and view them locally.

CameraFTP cloud recording service was launched in 2012. Initially, we focused on supporting IP camera recording and web browser based viewer. Sorry for the problem. The CameraFTP Viewer has been improved dramatically since then, and our web browser based viewer is even more powerful now.

Excellent easy to use app
I have been using the app often and reliably for months however the iOS7 update seems to have made the image viewing a little unreliable. When I am scanning across the days pictures many of them do not appear. Normally these appear briefly and the software skips on to the next image. This does not appear to happen any more adn the screen is left blank. The web site interface does not suffer the problem however I dont find that as easy to use. If the iOS app could be fixed then that would be great restoring the app to 5 out of 5. Thanks.
